Cuba and its shadows through music as a pretext | Shadow Hunters SMASh Contest Round 393 [EN/ES]

Hello shadow hunters!

I recently enjoyed an excellent trova concert featuring talented musicians from my city. The concert had been planned weeks in advance, but that night we thought everything would be canceled because the power was out in much of the city. There weren't many of us there, hoping the power would return so we could enjoy the music. However, we stayed, and the surprise was not long in coming.

The managers of the bar belonging to the creative institution where we were were arrived with a power generator powerful enough to connect the necessary audio system and turn on two reflector lamps to illuminate the stage.

The concert didn't take long, and the shadows arrived, accompanying each singer. Of course, being there, I had no choice but to hunt down these shadows, who also danced to the beat of the music, in full dialogue with the performers and the audience.

Here I intend to play with the conceptual premise of the symbolic evocation of a country in shadows that resists on the support of music, its artists, its projection despite the darkness and the leaves that fall from the trees over time.

I'd like to know what you think.

For now, I continue searching for new shadows to give you. In the meantime, I bid each of you farewell with the gift of a hug of light!

¡Hola cazadores de sombras!

Recientemente pude disfrutar de un excelente concierto de trova con la presencia de talentosos músicos de mi ciudad. El concierto estaba planificado con semanas de antelación, pero esa noche creímos todo se suspendería porque no había servicio eléctrico en gran parte de la urbe. No éramos muchos los que estábamos presentes allí con la esperanza de que retornara el fluido eléctrico y poder disfrutar de la música, sin embargo permanecimos en el lugar y la sorpresa no se hizo esperar.

Los responsables del bar que pertenece a la institución de creadores donde estábamos llegaron con una planta eléctrica con la suficiente potencia como para poder conectar el sistema de audio necesario y encender dos lámparas reflectoras para iluminar el escenario.

El concierto no se hizo esperar y las sombras llegaron acompañando a cada cantante. Por supuesto, estando yo ahí, no podía hacer otra cosa que disponerme a cazar a estas sombras que también danzaban al compás de la música en pleno diálogo con los protagonistas y el público presente.

Acá pretendo jugar con el presupuesto conceptual de la evocación simbólica de un país en sombras que se resiste sobre el soporte de la música, sus artistas, su proyección a pesar de la oscuridad y las hojas que caen de los árboles en el tiempo.

Me gustaría saber qué piensan ustedes.
