The Journey of 4 years...

Four years is not four days, or even four months. Within me is contains profound happiness, joy, and gratitude to God that I can't even possibly express. Today, I made it to the end of the journey. Today, I made it to the final lap victoriously. Today, my dream finally comes to reality. Today, I am a graduate.

It hasn't been an easy journey so far, if I tell someone it is that would be a blatant lie because it isn't. The beginning of the journey may not really seem to be a big deal because you don't really know what is really involved and what lies ahead. But when you continue to go further, you begin to encounter hurdles along the way which can be very overwhelming. If you are not careful and courageous enough, you might begin to consider giving up.

Have I ever had that thought (thought of giving up)? Of course I've did, quite a number of times. But I always managed to keep forging ahead. Thanks to my parents. Even though things weren't too rosy like I observed in the lives of some of my mates in school, they still managed to help me in the best way they could, and I cherish it to this day. They kept on encouraging me not to relent despite the situation of things. Sometimes, I encourage myself as well instead of finding someone to complain to.

On this beautiful day, a particular song kept ringing in my head. Although old, but it sounds fresh and really matched up with my mood on this glorious day. I just couldn't help but feel nothing else than Happy-ness. I guess I could tell how Pharrell Williams felt when he put out that song.

Another beautiful song that came across my mind is The start of Something New, the first song that was performed in Highschool musical by the characters Troy and Gabriella. Though the song has it's own theme, I, however, read another meaning to the song. A phase in my life has ended, and I'm looking forward to the beginning of something new.

I remember my elder brother calling me earlier to congratulate me and telling me to keep soaring higher.

Funny enough, it reminded me of another beautiful song. I don't know why it feels like my mood just seems to be in synchrony with Highschool musical melodies because the song also happens to be one of them, and it is titled Breaking free.

There's really a lot to say. I couldn't be any less grateful to God almighty for this beautiful moment. Guess this is where I draw the curtains, peace!

Thanks for your time!
