Greetings, Vibes people, happy week to everyone! I'm glad to meet you for week 34 where we'll have free theme. This time I wanted to do something a little different, so I chose a tropical rhythm for my presentation, in this case instrumental.
I believe that musicians, whether singers or instrumentalists, even if we have certain tastes and specific or favorite styles, we should not limit ourselves when it comes to learning different musical rhythms, because we don’t know when we might need this knowledge. Besides, this is part of an integral formation, since music is a universal art capable of reaching the hearts of many people in any corner of the world. That is why I have always been interested in learning different styles and rhythms, and enjoy all that diversity that leaves me a lot of learning and inspiration.
The piece I share with you today, accompanying on bass guitar and congas, is the song Volveré (I will Come Back), by the famous and recently deceased Dominican singer Rubby Pérez, as part of his album Vuelve el Merengue, released in 1996. I took the song track and deleted the original bass and lowered the volume of the general percussion with the help of the App. Moises, to accompany with my own instruments. I hope you like it.
¡Saludos, gente de Vibes, feliz semana para todos! Me alegra encontrarme con ustedes para la semana 34 en la que tendremos temática libre. En esta ocasión quise hacer algo un poco diferente, así que escogí un ritmo tropical para mi presentación, en este caso instrumental.
Considero que los músicos, ya sean cantantes o instrumentistas, aun teniendo ciertos gustos y estilos específicos o favoritos no debemos limitarnos a la hora de aprender diversos ritmos musicales, ya que no sabemos cuando podríamos necesitar estos conocimientos. Además, eso es parte de una formación integral, ya que la música es un arte universal capaz de llegar a los corazones de muchas personas en cualquier rincón del mundo. Es por eso que siempre me he interesado en aprender diferentes estilos y ritmos, y disfrutar de toda esa diversidad que me deja muchísimos aprendizajes e inspiración.
La pieza que les comparto hoy acompañando en bajo y congas, se trata de la canción Volveré, del célebre y recientemente fallecido cantante dominicano Rubby Pérez, como parte de su álbum Vuelve el Merengue, publicado en el año 1996. Tomé la pista de canción y suprimí el bajo original y bajé volumen a la percusión general con la ayuda de la App. Moises, para acompañar con mis propios instrumentos. Espero que les guste.
