Hello, Music Zone friends! It is a great pleasure to be with you on the occasion of participating in the Hive Music Festival, something I have wanted to do for a long time and finally have the opportunity to do today. I know from good references that this contest is very well received and of high quality due to the talent demonstrated in each edition. We are in week 151, round 1, and what better time to share my presentation with the community.
Looking at the contributions of other users, I can see that this music festival has a very good dynamic, allowing us to see great talents from the Hive ecosystem expressing their art every week. I think these initiatives greatly enrich the musicians on the platform because they offer us a great opportunity for exposure, diversification and development.
For this occasion, I bring you a cover on electroacoustic guitar and vocals of the song Somewhere Only We Know by the English alternative rock band Keane, from the album Hopes and Fears, released in 2004. This song, as we may remember, became very popular in the early 2000s, a time when alternative rock was booming worldwide. Personally, it brings back fond memories and transports me to a very beautiful stage of my life, adolescence, and especially the way I enjoyed music back then.
This beautiful piece basically tells us about the longing to return to a special place with deep emotional and sentimental value for a person and for whom we understand to be his lover, a very personal place that only they know and used to frequent, far away from everything and everyone, where they can possibly reconnect and give a new chance to a relationship that seems to be going through difficulties. I hope you like my presentation.
¡Hola, amigos de Music Zone! Es un gran placer estar con ustedes en ocasión de participar en el Hive Music Festival, algo que había querido hacer desde hace tiempo y que finalmente hoy tengo la oportunidad, sé por buenas referencias que este concurso cuenta con mucha receptividad y calidad por el talento que se demuestra en cada edición. Estamos en la semana 151 round 1, y que mejor momento para compartir mi presentación con la comunidad.
Viendo las participaciones de otros usuarios puedo ver que este festival musical tiene una dinámica muy buena, que nos permite ver cada semana grandes talentos del ecosistema de Hive expresando su arte. Pienso que estas iniciativas enriquecen mucho a los músicos de la plataforma porque nos ofrecen una gran oportunidad de proyección, diversificación y desarrollo.
Para esta ocasión les traigo un cover en guitarra electroacústica y voz de la canción Somewhere Only We Know de la banda inglesa de rock alternativo Keane, perteneciente al álbum Hopes and Fears, lanzado en el año 2004. Esta canción, como podremos recordar, se hizo muy popular a principios de los 2000, época en la que el rock alternativo tomó gran auge a nivel mundial. A mí en lo personal me trae gratos recuerdos y me transporta a una etapa muy bonita como lo es la adolescencia y sobre todo la manera como disfrutaba la música en ese entonces.
Esta hermosa pieza nos habla básicamente de la añoranza de regresar a un lugar especial con un valor emocional y sentimental profundo para una persona y para quien entendemos es su enamorada, un sitio muy personal que solo ellos conocen y solían frecuentar, alejado de todo y de todos, en el que posiblemente puedan reconectar y darle una nueva oportunidad a una relación que parece estar pasando por dificultades. Espero que les guste mi presentación.
