Hello, Vibes friends! We are now in week 41 of this music competition, and once again we have a free theme, so I would like to take this opportunity to share a cover song performed by my favorite pop ballad singer. Before continuing, I would like to congratulate all the winners from the last few weeks, who have done an excellent job.
As a fun fact, the song I'm presenting today is a cover of a cover. It's La Mia Storia Tra le Dita (My Story Among Your Fingers), an original composition by Italian singer-songwriter Gianluca Grignani, which became popular in the 90s, right around the time I was a teenager. Italian singer Laura Pausini recently released the album La Mia Storia Tra le Dita All Versions, which is the beginning of a project that aims to pay tribute to artists she admires, both from Italy and other parts of the world. On this occasion, I accompany my voice with guitar and percussion eggs.
The song tells us about a breakup and the need to move on despite the pain. When love ends, we sometimes look for silly excuses to leave the relationship instead of being totally honest and thus avoiding situations that can make things more difficult and deeply hurt those involved. I hope you like my performance.

Nos encontramos en la semana 41 de esta competencia musical y tenemos nuevamente temática libre, así que aprovecho para compartir un cover musical interpretado por mi cantante de baladas-pop favorita. Antes de continuar deseo felicitar a todos los ganadores de las últimas semanas, quienes han hecho un excelente trabajo.
Como dato curioso esta canción que les presento hoy es un cover de un cover. Se trata de La Mia Storia Tra le Dita (Mi Historia Entre tus dedos), composición original del cantautor italiano Gianluca Grignani, y que se popularizó en los años 90, justo en la época de mi adolescencia. Resulta de la también cantante italiana Laura Pausini recientemente lanzó el álbum La Mia Storia Tra le Dita All Versions, el cual es el inicio de un proyecto que pretende homenajear a artistas que ella admira, tanto de Italia como de otras partes del mundo. En esta oportunidad acompaño mi voz con guitarra y huevos percusivos.
La canción nos habla de una ruptura amorosa y la necesidad de seguir adelante a pesar del dolor. Cuando se acaba el amor en ocasiones buscamos excusas tontas para irnos de la relación en lugar de ser totalmente sinceros y así evitar situaciones que pueden llegar a hacer las cosas más difíciles y herir profundamente a los implicados. Espero que les guste mi presentación.
