Greetings and blessings, friends of Hive Open Mic! After a week of absence I’m happy to be able to share with you in the 192nd edition of this extraordinary musical event. The chosen theme is "Grateful", so I hope to see beautiful presentations around this very special topic.

I believe that being a thankful person implies appreciating the small details of life and recognizing the blessing that God and others work for us, not only in the pressing moments but also in the moments of joy that we can share.

As the end of the year is approaching, I wanted to bring for this edition a typical Christmas song entitled "Al Llegar Aquí" (When I Get Here), written by Edgardo Chirinos and performed by Cecilia Todd, among other artists of Venezuelan folklore.

With this aguinaldo I wish to thank all the members of this beautiful family of Hive Open Mic for a year of joy and wonderful musical interaction, likewise I wish you a Merry Christmas and a prosperous year 2024 full of blessings. The video was edited with the app. Capcut. I hope you like it.

¡Saludos y bendiciones, amigos de Hive Open Mic! Después de una semana de ausencia me alegra poder compartir con ustedes en la edición 192 de este extraordinario evento musical. La temática escogida es "Agradecido", así que espero ver hermosas presentaciones en torno a este tópico tan especial.

Considero que ser una persona agradecida implica apreciar los pequeños detalles de la vida y reconocer la bendición que Dios y la labor del prójimo hacia nosotros, no solo en los momentos apremiantes sino también en los instantes de regocijo que podemos compartir.

Como se acerca el fin de año quise traer para esta edición una canción típica de la época navideña que lleva por título “Al Llegar Aquí”, escrita por Edgardo Chirinos e interpretada por Cecilia Todd, entre otros artistas del folclore venezolano.

Con este aguinaldo deseo agradecer a todos los miembros de esta bonita familia de Hive Open Mic por un año de alegrías y maravillosa interacción musical, del mismo modo les deseo feliz navidad y un próspero año 2024 lleno de bendiciones. Llegó la Navidad al Hive Open Mic, con esta canción muy propia de esta fecha donde llevamos parranda y aguinaldo a las personas de casa en casa. Creo que con una canción y dando la bienvenida a la navidad a través de este aguinaldo, es la mejor manera de agradecer el año que todos hemos tenido dentro y fuera de la plataforma y por pedir que el próximo sea mucho mejor y que nos permita crecer en muchos aspectos.

Me gustó mucho tu enfoque para esta semana y sobre todo tu performance, tanto en la guitarra como con la voz. Saludos amiga.

Happy Monday Rosana!. It's amazing how this song fits perfectly with the weekly theme. One of my favorites and the one with which we always started the parrandas in families, or at least that's how we used to do it before when my dad used to turn on Christmas in every home we came to, especially on December 31. You look great solo, but I'm missing rumba here hahaha. A big hug my dear!...

Yes, this song is great with all the typical instruments. An emblematic piece that can not miss at Christmas time, especially towards the end of the year.

Me ha gustado mucho tu versión de este maravilloso aguinaldo venezolano.

Te cuento, mi mamá perteneció a los tucusitos y aunque yo no soy creyente, le tengo un cariño muy especial a estas festividades porque me recuerdan a la infancia, a una época en la que era especialmente feliz.

Me ha gustado tu versión en guitarra, es distinto, ya que estoy bastante acostumbrado a escuchar parrandas y aguinaldos con el cuatro venezolano y a 5/8. ¡Te felicito!

Lo ideal es tocar esta canción con el cuatro, pero actualmente no tengo uno, hice lo que pude con la guitarra.
