Greetings, Open Mic friends! It’s a pleasure to be with you for Week 316, where our theme is “I Know What's Coming.”
Wanting to know what will happen in the future always sparks our curiosity and, for some, even anxiety. It’s normal to want some clue about what life and destiny have in store for us; however, for the most part, we have no control over that. While we can prepare ourselves professionally or in other ways by seeking the tools that will help us build a bright forthcoming, the truth is that we don’t know exactly what circumstances await us in the future. I think what we can do is prepare ourselves as best as possible and face life with the greatest enthusiasm, having faith in God, since He always wants the best for each of His children.
Today I’m sharing the song “Qué Será, Será,” a track composed by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans in 1955 and covered by the American alternative rock band Pixies as part of their album “Qué Será, Será” (Whatever Will Be, Will Be), released in 2022. This song is part of the soundtrack for the thriller series From, and it reminds us that we cannot know the future with certainty and that whatever will be, will be. I hope you enjoy this presentation.
¡Saludos, amigos de Open Mic! Un gusto estar con ustedes, en ocasión de la semana 316 en la que nos encontramos con la temática “Sé lo que va a pasar”.
Querer conocer lo que va a suceder en el futuro siempre nos causa curiosidad y a algunos incluso ansiedad. Es normal querer tener alguna pista de lo que nos depara la vida y el destino, sin embargo, en gran medida no tenemos control sobre eso, si bien podemos prepararnos profesionalmente o en otros aspectos buscando tener las herramientas que nos faciliten un buen porvenir, la verdad es que no conocemos con precisión cuáles serán las circunstancias que nos aguardan en el futuro. Pienso que lo que nos queda es prepararnos lo mejor posible y afrontar la vida con el mayor entusiasmo, teniendo fe en Dios, ya que Él siempre quiere lo mejor para cada uno de sus hijos.
El día de hoy les presento la canción “Qué Será, Será”, un tema compuesto por Jay Livingston y Ray Evans en el año 1955 y versionado por la banda de rock alternativo estadounidense Pixies, como parte de su álbum” Que Sera, Sera” (Whatever Will Be, Will Be) lanzado en 2022. Esta canción es parte de la banda sonora de la serie del género thriller From, y en ella nos hablan de que no conocemos el futuro con certeza y que lo que sea que vaya a suceder así será. Espero que esta presentación sea de su agrado.
