Happy Week, Open Mic friends! It’s a pleasure to be with you for Week 314, where we’re exploring the theme “Treasure”, a topic with many facets.
As many of us have come to experience in our lives, friendship is a fundamental pillar of our well-being, not only emotional but also spiritual. Personally, I identify with the popular saying that friends are the family we choose, and these relationships should always be based on affection, solidarity, honesty, and unconditional love.
Today I present to you the song “Whoever Has Found a Friend Has Found a Treasure,” a song performed by Sister Glenda, from her album “A Solas con Dios”, released in 1998. This song allows us to affirm a great truth whoever has found true friendship is like someone who has found a great treasure, more valuable than gold, especially when it comes to friends who bring us closer to faith in God. Como bien muchos hemos llegado a experimentar en nuestra vida, la amistad es un pilar fundamental para nuestro bienestar, no solo emocional sino también espiritual. Personalmente me identifico con la popular premisa que dice que los amigos son la familia que elegimos, y estas relaciones siempre deben basarse en el cariño, la solidaridad, la honestidad y la incondicionalidad.
El día de hoy les presento la canción “Quien Ha Encontrado un Amigo Ha Encontrado un Tesoro”, un tema interpretado por la Hermana Glenda, perteneciente a su álbum “A Solas con Dios”, lanzado en el año 1998. Esta canción nos permite afirmar una gran verdad, aquel que ha encontrado la verdadera amistad es como quien ha encontrado un gran tesoro, más valioso que el oro, especialmente si se trata de amigos que nos acercan a la fe en Dios. Espero que esta presentación sea de su agrado.
