Lucy gazed up at the endless blue sky, letting Marcus's words wrap around her like a warm embrace.
-Go write your feelings for me in the sky, -he had said with that mischievous smile that melted her heart.
Suddenly, a flock of birds flew across the sky, their fluttering wings tracing an ethereal message that seemed to be addressed only to her.
She smiled, watching in rapt attention as the night stars took over, flashing their fiery declaration more brightly.
Not even the fiercest wind could erase those words, which remained imbued deep within her.
Even nature seemed to be in tune with her feelings: the rain pounded with the same intensity as her racing heart, while the lightning reflected the sighs that struggled to escape from her chest.
An indescribable warmth came over her at that moment. Marcus had fulfilled his promise to leave his indelible mark on the infinite canvas of the sky, and now his name was forever inscribed on her own.
