His true home
Source
Every time the alleys were covered in damp mist, he felt a strange uneasiness creeping into his being. A sense of constant déjà vu, as if something inside him urged him to return to a forgotten place.
In those moments, his footsteps guided him aimlessly, allowing the mist to envelop him completely. It was as if a mysterious force was pulling at the threads of his soul.
Suddenly, he found himself in front of an old, weathered brick building. An electric current ran down his spine as he recognised it. Blurred images of a past life flashed into his mind.
He entered with his heart pounding. He climbed the stairs as if he had walked that path a thousand times before. And there, on the top floor, the fog lifted to reveal a half-open door.
He smiled, understanding at last the source of that incessant calling. He had found the place where he belonged, his true home.
