Ustedes se preguntaran que es eso que está entre comillas en grande, es nada más y nada menos que el título que lleva la canción que le interpretare hoy con mi mandolina.

"Funiculi Funicula" una pieza que tocaba en mi escuela de música en mi niñez y que para serles sincero, no sabía porque se escuchaba diferente a los ritmos tradicionales de mi estado y la rítmica no se me asemejaba a ninguna a otra en su momento. Hasta que llegó el día de hoy, y pude por fin saber un poco más sobre ella, a través de un poco de investigación.

Resulta que está Canción, con una melodía que se queda grabada facilmente, con un ritmo alegra, es del sur de Italia y su carácter festivo y alegre fueron los ingredientes fundamentales que contribuyeron a su popularidad.

Este grandioso tema fue compuesto por Luigi Denza, con letra de Peppino Turco, en el año de 1880 para la apertura del primer funicular que transportaba turistas en el Monte Vesubio. Cuando supe que era por la apertura del primer funicular mi mente dudo, ¿Que es un funicular? Desde mi ignorancia no sabía que era, pero me causó curiosidad.

Gracias a la magia del internet, pude entender que un funicular es un término para nombrar a un vehículo que es traccionado a través de un cable, una cadena o un elemento similar y que normalmente está sobre una pendiente muy inclinada.

"Funiculi Funicula" a piece that I played in my music school in my childhood and to be honest, I did not know why it sounded different from the traditional rhythms of my state and the rhythmic did not resemble any other at the time. Volviendo al tema de la canción, gracias a que grandes cantantes italianos la hicieron parte de su repertorio, fue que alcanzó la fama mundial de la cual goza hasta el día de hoy, una de las versiones más populares de este tema es la del gran Cantante Tenor Luciano Pavarotti.

Yo bueno quería decirles que aunque mi version no sea cantada, creo que de igual manera se puede sentir la rítmica alegre de esta melodía, yo solo aquí con mi mandolina, en mi casa, grabando un vídeo con mucho cariño para ustedes, espero les guste.
