Hola qué tal amigos, el día de hoy salí a ensayar con unos amigos músicos, yo toco la mandolina, y tengo con ellos un grupo de música venezolana fusión. Combinamos la música tradicional con ritmos y géneros de todo el mundo para innovar un poco.

Mi primo me estaba haciendo el favor de llevarme en su carro hasta el ensayo, cuando íbamos en la vía, venía un grupo de personas con su ganado en medio de la carretera, me sorprendió que grande e imponentes son estos animales.

Hello how are you friends, today I went out to rehearse with some musician friends, I play the mandolin, and I have a Venezuelan fusion music group with them. We combine traditional music with rhythms and genres from around the world to innovate a little.

My cousin was doing me a favor by taking me in his car to the rehearsal, when we were on the road, a group of people came with their cattle in the middle of the road, I was surprised how big and imposing these animals are.

Viendo el ganado que iba pasando

Los animales se desviaron un poco de su ruta, y venían de frente hacia el carro, pero después pasaron hacia los lados, iban de varios tamaños, lo más grande me sorprenden mucho.

The animals deviated a little from their route, and came straight towards the car, but then they passed to the sides, they were of various sizes, the largest surprised me a lot.

El ganado pasando por un lado del carro

Luego de disfrutar de ver los animales, seguimos nuestra ruta hasta llegar al apartamento de uno de mis amigos músicos donde realizaríamos el ensayo. Me tocó subir las escaleras ya que era en el sexto piso y el ascensor se había dañado, pero no iba solo estaba con mi instrumento jajajaj.

After enjoying seeing the animals, we continued our route until we reached the apartment of one of my musician friends where we would do the rehearsal. I had to go up the stairs since it was on the sixth floor and the elevator had been damaged, but I wasn't alone with my instrument hahaha.

Subiendo las escaleras

Cuando llegue ya estaban todos mis amigos músicos, era el bajista, un cuatrista, el percusionista que toca caja flamenca y yo. Aunque estaban almorzando así que tocó esperar un ratico que terminaran para comenzar.

When I arrived, all my musician friends were already there, it was the bassist, a cuatrista, the percussionist who plays the flamenco box and me. Although they were having lunch so we had to wait a while for them to finish to start.

Ya después comenzó el ensayo, la idea era enseñarles nuestros arreglos al bajista, ya que él no había tocado con nosotros antes, y necesitaba aprenderse los temas. Pronto el sería nuestro suplente, porque el bajista oficial de la agrupación anda muy comprometido con varios proyectos y en ocasiones tiene que faltar a las presentaciones.

After the rehearsal began, the idea was to show our arrangements to the bassist, since he hadn't played with us before, and he needed to learn the songs. Soon he would be our substitute, because the official bassist of the group is very committed to various projects and sometimes he has to miss presentations.

Luego de pasar dos horas y media ensayando, hablamos un rato para ponernos al día ya que teníamos mucho tiempo sin vernos. Después era hora de retirarse, mi amigo el percusionista me dijo que iba a la orquesta sinfónica a dar clases, y yo le comenté que quería ir para ver los ensayos de la orquesta y distraerme un rato.

Me fui con él en su carro, y mientras tanto observaba una caja flamenca que está utilizando ahora que es súper pequeña, el me comenta que la usa solo para ensayos ya que es más cómodo transportarla.

After spending two and a half hours rehearsing, we talked for a while to catch up since we hadn't seen each other for a long time. Then it was time to retire, my friend the percussionist told me that he was going to the symphony orchestra to give classes, and I told him that I wanted to go to see the orchestra rehearsals and have some fun.

I went with him in his car, and meanwhile I was looking at a flamenco box that he is using now that it is super small, he tells me that he only uses it for rehearsals since it is more comfortable to transport it.

Cuando llegamos a donde ensayaba la orquesta me senté en la parte de afuera para escuchar un poco. Al rato llego un amigo que al parecer da clases en la orquesta también, el es clarinetista, y lo conocí hace varios años, en algunas presentaciones donde nos encontrábamos.

When we got to where the orchestra was rehearsing, I sat outside to listen a bit. After a while a friend arrived who apparently also teaches in the orchestra, he is a clarinetist, and I met him several years ago, in some performances where we were.

Me puse hablar con el de música, de las canciones difíciles, también saque la mandolina y me puse a tocarle algunos temas que me sabía, claro todo sin tocar muy duro para no fastidiar el ensayo de la orquesta.

I started talking to him about music, about the difficult songs, I also took out the mandolin and started to play him some songs that I knew, of course, without playing too hard so as not to disturb the orchestra's rehearsal.

Ya después se hizo un poco tarde, y me tenía que ir debido a que el transporte público no pasa después de cierta hora. Menos mal que gracias a dios, una vez que termino la orquesta, me encontré con unos amigos que tocan el chello, y me dijeron para llevarme hasta la parada del transporte público en su carro, lo cual me caía muy bien, porque si no tenía que agarrar dos autobuses.

Afterwards it got a little late, and I had to leave because public transport doesn't come after a certain time. Fortunately, thank God, once the orchestra finished, I met some friends who play the cello, and they told me to take me to the public transport stop in their car, which I liked very much, because if I didn't have to catch two buses.

Una vez que llegue a la parada, di las gracias a mis amigos por haberme traído y me despedi. Me monte en el transporte público y en 30 minutos ya estaba de regreso en casa, me recibió mi sobrina la cual amo con todo mi corazón, ella viene de ves en cuando a visitarnos la trae mi hermana.

Se estaba comiendo algo de pan y vino a ver si yo quería para darme, ¿no es linda?jajajaja.

Once I got to the stop, I thanked my friends for bringing me and said goodbye. I got on public transport and in 30 minutes I was back home, my niece received me, whom I love with all my heart, she comes from time to time to visit us, my sister brings her.

She was eating some bread and she came to see if I wanted to give it to me, isn't she cute? hahahaha.

Mi sobrina me recibió cuando llegue a casa

Después me puse a compartir un rato con mi hermana, mi sobrina y mi madre, además de eso también le hice de cenar a todos, comimos y seguimos hablando. Mi hermana al rato se tuvo que ir, y ya el día prácticamente había terminado.

Un día lleno de reencuentro con mis amistades la mayoría músicos, para mi excelente compartir con todos ellos. Era hora de ir a dormir. Un abrazo y bendiciones para todos.

Later I began to share a while with my sister, my niece and my mother, in addition to that I also made dinner for everyone, we ate and continued talking. After a while my sister had to leave, and the day was practically over.

A day full of reunion with my friends, most of them musicians, for me excellent to share with all of them. It was time to go to sleep. A hug and blessings to all.
