Introduction to Riverstage
The Riverstage one stage amongst many at the Cosmic Puffin Festival, a Stage hosted in a 40 by 20 foot marque presenting approximately 28 bands over a weekend. All thanks to a dedicated crew willing to give up their time for charity and are prepared to through a party to help raise money.
The event, known as Cosmic Puffin Festival, is a festival like none other that I know one or two days to Set up the site one day to take down, run by volunteers asking no payment other than taking part in a weekend of celebration.
When we started out we had a basic Pa and Hosted mainly acoustic acts with a few rock bands thrown in , but hosting all this in an old green canvas marque meant a cosy atmosphere from the start and it soon became a popular place to be.
As the years go by more and more bands applied to play on the stage , despite the fact they did not get paid any more than a ticket in ,free meals and reduced ticket price for friends and fans. This meant we had some exelent music on the stage making it even more popular. Check out some of the music from 2017.
So the Riverstage has alot more to say for itself , A lot more archived footage of great music and alot more events to come. Unfortunately the Cosmic Puffin festival has taken a break in the last couple of years , but the Riverstage has apeared at several other events and will continue to do so . We are planning a Riverstage festival as well so look out for that. thank you to @audiohive and @queenoftheworld for being on the crew helping the stage to happen and keeping the Marque in their basement and thank you to all the crew Alice, Simon, Martin, Jake, Robin, and those who have helped over the years , Gemma, Lynn, Dorothy, Domonique, Pam, Ric and of course the wonderful audiences that have visited us over time.
