Wacken 2025 officially Opens the Holy Ground

Moin,

Yesterday the official Opening for the Wacken 2025 happened and hundreds or even thousands people were standing at the barriers to get into the HOLY GROUND of Wacken.

I got a bit time to walk around and was happy to get into the Area a bit earlier with my Merchant Wristband.

People from all over the World came here and even one bycicle driver came down from North England. He said it took him 4 days to arrive at Wacken, what a guy!

It's still a crazy crazy time with a lot of Rain and even more Mud on the Fields.
There were couple of warnings from the Wacken Officials that they had to leave their tents in the middle of the night to not get drained by the rain.

While the rain didn't stopped yesterday for the whole day, we managed to get at least some sales of rock n roll Fotography books. The amount of people who just don't care about rain and mud is impressive.

The complete Holy Ground were filled by people while it was constantly raining. Couple of Bands were there playing and it looks like they played until 12pm last night.

Here are the both main stages from the infield, the size is just amazing.

On the way back to our merchant booth we kinda struggled through the massive amount of mud on the Wacken fields. Some people are slipping, wearing no shoes or just sneakers, but that's looks like it doesn't matter for such people. It's crazy.

There were the message that once you leave the camping ground, you are out
No more entrance due the weather and mud conditions. It's a rough time and will try to keep you updated with rocking news from Wacken 2025.

Until then, rock on 🤘

True they have. They already added some wood snippets to some walking routes but hopefully adding some for the cars as well.

Cheers, do we see us in Kuala Lumpur this year?

This festival is definitely on my bucket list. Along with 70,000 tons of metal.

The mud is a rite of passage for Wacken, I think :D

Are you joining Hive fest this year?

I do love my metal!

RE hive fest: while it is the closest its ever been to home, I am not. Finances do not permit.

Rain, mud and thousands of die hard fans showing up no matter what it proves how legendary this festival is.

It was really a rainy and muddy day. If you don't have a rain boot, I don't think you would enjoy your stay here.
