When I first clicked on @eloobaro’s entry for the Vibes Web3 Music Competition Week 39, I didn’t know what to expect. But the moment Fly Me to the Moon began, I felt something calm and inviting in the performance. It held my attention right away.

The song selection was spot-on. Fly Me to the Moon is one of those classic songs that are universally known and covered by many artists, yet each rendition feels fresh. This one, ignited by Sia’s rendition, and the recent movie, carried its own heart. Even though it is a cover, it was not reminiscent. It was very much from him, very much telling his story through the lyrics.

Her voice is what I love most. It wasn’t loud or dramatic. It was soft, steady, and full of sincerity. Every word was given space to breathe. That simplicity made it more powerful. Most time fancy scenes in music doesn't matter. The real voice which carries emotions matter a lot.

She really took her time to sing the song which makes it unique. It wasn’t rushed. Each line had room to settle, giving me time to feel the words. When he sang “In other words, I love you”, it hit with gentle force. I found myself waiting for the next line, holding onto the emotion it carried.

I appreciated how natural the performance felt. No unnecessary distractions. No extra polish that takes away from the heart of the music. It was just voice, presence, and emotion.

They always were special in themselves, but here they seemed to have a life of their own. The longing, the wish to reach for something beyond this world, the simple act of holding someone’s hand-all of it came across very clearly. Listening made me think of moments in my life when I felt I wish I could hold on to something or someone that mattered.

The voice had a ring of true honesty. It didn’t have a tone of trying to be impressive or winning. It had a tone of sharing of self. That kind of openness is rarely found and hence made this performance memorable.

Something else that hit me was the smooth pace. The song did not hurry. It allowed room to think and to feel. It was soft but strong, like waves caressing the shore. I did not only hear the song I felt it.

What impressed me most after the first listening was the simplicity of it all. Such an illusion that music must always be big to stir people’s hearts. Sometimes, most powerful of all, is a voice filled with

@eloobaro’s cover, it wasn’t just another cover. And that’s what makes this one so special. Heartfelt honest a beautifully crafted song, beautifully delivered. Singer carried emotion, pacing gave space for it to sink in, felt unforgotten, so it was definitely more than a performance a moment of connection.

Oh my God, I took my time to read this post words for word. And I must say I’m so grateful for you honest opinion, before I sang this song I watched the movie and that can of gave me a heads up of how I want the song to be emotionally leading from my heart.
Again I must say I’m grateful for your kind word and honesty.
