Hello and welcome to Hive Music Festival Week 143, Round 2! My name is @rishagamo, and with me here is my brother, @akwash360, who graciously agreed to help me play the guitar. I sincerely hope this song ministers to all of you. Thank you for joining us. The title of the song I'll be singing today is “Lay Your Hands on Me Lord” by Pastor Dr. Paul Enenche.

We all profoundly need the Hands of the Lord in our lives, whether it's in our sacred relationship with Him, our crucial relationships with family and cherished friends, our interactions with co-workers and other valued neighbors, or in the vital aspects of our finances and our health. The world, indeed, is becoming darker and more challenging every day. Without God in a leadership role in our lives, our existence can only truly turn out to be a consistent, disheartening mess.

This song is a heartfelt prayer and a genuine plea to God to lay His hands on us. It is a fervent prayer for God to lay His hands upon our very lives and upon our innermost souls. A great many people are currently navigating through terrible, trying situations. Some of these situations are deeply emotional, manifesting as painful heartbreak, debilitating depression, and the agonizing feeling of a profound lack of self-worth. Meanwhile, others face severe challenges such as a persistent lack of financial stability and the immense struggle for good health. And with the Hands of the Almighty, who faithfully makes everything right in His own perfect time, it is critically important to cry out to God Almighty to powerfully show us His hands upon our lives each and every single day. May the Almighty God help us all. Amen.
