Hello and welcome to Hive Open Mic Week 271, my name is @rishagamo and I will be singing the cover of Go Tell it on the mountain.

In the book of Mark 16:15 Jesus Instructed His disciples to go into the world and preach the word to everyone, this instruction is often referred to as the great commission.

The original song is a song about the birth of Jesus Christ, but I had to make a little twitch to the lyrics of the chorus singing only the chorus as my entry, changing “that Jesus Christ is Born” to “that Jesus Christ is Lord”. This changes the message of the song from the message of the birth of Jesus Christ or a Christmas song.
