"Land on the Moon" by Richard F. Yates (Holy Fool)
[Felt pen, paint pen, and color change marker on reclaimed cardboard with digital embellishments and color.] Snake wanted to be an astronaut since he wiggled live from his mother's belly! What he never guessed is that he would eventually land on the moon in the guts of a U.F.O.!!! Jeepers! ---Richard F. Yates (Holy Fool)

"Hey (Sep. 2023)" by Richard F. Yates (Holy Fool)
[Liner pen on notebook page with digital embellishments and color removal.] Sometimes I just like the simplicity of a black and white cartoon. Since the art is made for my mental health (and not necessarily for SALES CONCERNS), I can not only create stuff this simple but I can share it with the TEZ peeps, thanks to them silky smooth (and cheap as smurf) transactions! That's how I like to play! ---Richard F. Yates (Holy Fool)

"Sitting on the Kid" by Richard F. Yates (Holy Fool)
[Crayon, felt pen, cardboard collage and tape on old, water-damaged construction paper (that spent a year in the backyard inside a leaky tent) with digital embellishments and color tweaking.] Sometimes, instead of just writing in my journal, I find a scrap of paper of a chunk of cardboard and write myself a note about whatever's going on, and then I tape that note into my notebook. That's why my finished journals usually end up being really fat and difficult to close - all the junk I have taped inside! Makes reading them a bit more interesting, visually at least! ---Richard F. "Polished Garbage" by Richard F. Yates (Holy Fool)
[Liner pen on paper with digital embellishments and color.] Self deprecation is a defense mechanism. If I say it's garbage before anyone else can, than I can go, "I know! Total trash!" and they don't get no satisfaction! The satisfaction is ALL MINE! Ha! ---Richard F. Yates (Holy Fool)

Because ghosts have no eyes, and physical rods, cones, and optic nerves (not to mention brains) are required for collecting light and interpreting the collected data to create VISION, are all ghosts blind?

I feel as though I should chatter a little bit about this whole MUSIC thing. I've been a music addict since I was a youngster. I loved the radio in the 1970s, and in the early 1980s I stole a tape deck, which made a massive impression on me. Since then, I've been obsessed with sound... I have music playing nearly every night to sleep to. I use music to pass the time while driving on lengthy trips, and I LOVE dance clubs! I've been a DJ since the late 1980s, when I entertained at a house party! (The hit songs of the night were "Rock Lobster" by The B-52's and "Cherub" by The Butthole Surfers! Of course, not everyone loved my music choices, and some malicious individual dumped a 2 liter of soda into my box of cassette tapes! Many were ruined! Back then, I used a dual tape deck to play my songs, spending hours cuing up the tunes that I planned to play beforehand! Great fun!)
Ain't that a lovely autobiographical anecdote?
Thanks for playing along! Now go listen to some music!!!
