The minutes go by too fast

One song I’m in a car riding the highway in a rush
Another song I’m in a spaceship, fleeing the past
I love music so much

Tunes can make me smile and blush
Or leave me mourning over the friend I’ve seen last
The whole time I’m nodding, singing and such

Some songs are simple, plain, and have a light touch
Some music’s like a rubix cube, complicated to unmask
I love music so much

Music is a language that’s easy and lush
Hours have gone by and I’m having a blast
I love music so much
