‎I bring to you all greetings from this side. I'm happy to participate in this week's entry. Today, I will be doing a cover of a song, You Get the Glory by JJ Hairston & Timothy Reddick.

‎This week, before I recorded this song, I thought of what song I should do in order to glorify and give thanks to the Lord God Most High. So this song came to my mind immediately. You get the glory, You get the honor, and You get the praise. All this is referring to my Creator. So this week, I just want to give God all the praise. I just want to glorify His name for the gift of life and for everything that He has done for me throughout this week. I want to use this song to give Him all the praise, to thank Him. Words are not enough for me to say how much I am thankful, but here I just want to give Him the praise through these lyrics and this song.

‎There is a part that I love the most in this song, and it made me choose this song for this week. It is the first part of the song that says, In my life be glorified. So I want the name of God my King, to be glorified through my life because He is what made me understand that I am a letter that people are reading. So once I backslide from looking upon Him, there are people that also will backslide. This is the reason I look unto God, and I'm asking Him for this very thing: let my life glorify Him. And my prayer is that the name of the Lord will not be put to shame. This is my earnest prayer and my heart's desire that the name of Jesus will not be put to shame. I usually do this prayer whenever I think of His goodness and His mercies in my life.

‎This very song, we just rehearsed it once together with my friend. He was the one that taught me this song After we had rehearsed the song and I was about to sing for this very week's entry, as I said earlier, this song just popped into my mind. I didn't listen to the song so well, but after the rehearsal, I'm happy that I rehearsed this song. This song is a blessing to me, and I pray that it will bless you also.
