(ENG/ESP) Fanart “Prince and Princess” – Versailles /Fanart “Príncipe y Princesa” – Versailles.
Una de mis bandas preferidas de JRock en la categoría de Visual Kei es sin duda Versailles.
Los trajes exquisitamente detallados, el maquillaje y peinados, hacen que los personajes que cada miembro de la banda, cobre vida en el escenario.
Kamijo representa al Vampiro, Masashi al Caballero, Yuki al Cazador, Hizaki a la Princesa y Teru al Príncipe. Anteriormente, Jasmine You ejercía el rol de la Bruja.
Eso me había inspirado para empezar un pequeño fancomic sobre la historia de los personajes.
Hacer una sola página llevaba muchísimo tiempo, no sólo porque tenía que hacer todos los detalles para el vestuario, sino que tenía que hacer los escenarios con el mismo nivel de detalle para que pudieran encajar en el momento histórico al que pertenecen los personajes.
Era bastante divertido y trabajé con él durante un tiempo. Me ayudó mucho a poner atención a los detalles y a desarrollar la paciencia.
Hice la ficha de alguno de los personajes. Ya que iba a ser un proyecto en el que sólo trabajaba yo, con unos cuantos bocetos, notas e ideas sobre los ángulos de los personajes me resultaba suficiente.
También hice algunos fanarts con las versiones en manga. Siempre me han encantado sus trajes, pero a la hora de dibujarlos, lleva mucho tiempo hacerlos. Así que lo tomaba como un momento de relax ya que sabía que serían bastantes horas las que debía pasar sentada antes que pudiera ver el resultado final.
Esta fue una ilustración que hice con Teru y Hizaki. En la historia del manga, ellos son hermanos. Quise reflejar lo bien que se llevaban untos en la ilustración. ¡Espero les guste!

One of my favorite JRock bands in the Visual Kei category is undoubtedly Versailles.
The exquisitely detailed costumes, makeup, and hairstyles bring to life the characters that each band member portrays on stage.
Kamijo represents the Vampire, Masashi the Knight, Yuki the Hunter, Hizaki the Princess, and Teru the Prince. Previously, Jasmine You played the role of the Witch.
This inspired me to start a small fan comic about the characters' story.
Creating a single page took a long time, not only because I had to include all the costume details, but also because I had to create the settings with the same level of detail to fit the historical period to which the characters belong.
It was quite fun, and I worked on it for a while. It helped me pay attention to details and develop patience.
I created character profiles. Since it was a project I was working on alone, a few sketches, notes, and ideas about the characters' angles were enough for me.
I also made some fan art with manga versions. I've always loved their costumes, but drawing them takes a long time. So, I saw it as a relaxing moment, knowing that I would spend quite a few hours sitting down before seeing the final result.
This is an illustration I made with Teru and Hizaki. In the manga's story, they are siblings. I wanted to reflect how well they got along in the illustration. I hope you like it!
