SHOOTOUT AT DRAKE'S MANSION

A security guard was shot and badly injured in a drive-by shooting outside Drake's mansion in Toronto(near Bayview and Lawrence avenue) on Tuesday, May 7, around 2:10 a.m. The suspect fled in a vehicle, and no description of the shooter or the car has been released, the security guard who was standing outside the gates of the mansion was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after the attack.
Police are investigating and have collected surveillance video, but no motive has been established. Drake's team is cooperating with the investigation.
The incident occurred amid an ongoing rap feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, with both artists releasing diss tracks attacking each other. Drake's mansion, located in the affluent Bridle Path neighborhood, has been the subject of trespassing incidents and attempted break-ins in recent days. The incidents have raised concerns about the security of Drake's property and the safety of those around him after Kendrick displayed his mansion as his song cover.

A day after the shooting, police were called back to the mansion to deal with an intruder(attempted). The person attempting to gain access into the property was apprehended under the Mental Health Act.
