En esta oportunidad no me acompañarè con la guitarra sino con el cuatro venezolano, ya que mi canciòn, dentro del acostumbrado contexto romàntico en esta oportunidad se las traigo en ritmo "pasaje", un suave ritmo del folklore venezolano.

Me gustarìa hablarles un poco del cuatro, ya que recientemente, - el 4 de abril - se celebró su dìa en todo el territorio nacional, a través de una celebración que honrò el que haya sido declarado en el 2013 Patrimonio Cultural de la Nación.

Ese dìa la magia de sus cuatro cuerdas se hizo presente en los espacios públicos más emblemáticos del país.

La afinación del cuatro es A - D - F# - B, y se acostumbra entonar esas cuatro notas con las cuatro sílabas de la frasecilla "cam - bur pin - tòn" (Pintòn significa que està en camino de madurar pero aùn conserva algo de verde. Es el estado intermedio entre estar verde o maduro)

Esta canción data de la segunda mitad de los noventa, por allí por el año 98, estaba yo muy imbuido en lo que era la música venezolana. Se había puesto de moda el cantante Luis Silva, quien popularizó muchos éxitos criollos en el género "estilizado" - no recio - . Eso me llevó de la mano a explorar los antecedentes de Juan Vicente Torrealba, de Mario Suàrez, de Hèctor Cabrera, y de esta forma nace "Y que solloce", una canción con toques de melancolías, de reminiscencias de experiencias vividas en carne propia a mercede de la piel, del recuerdo.
