Playing Drums at the Open Stage - Come Together 🥁🎶

How are you doing?
I am very quiet here right now. Sorry for that. But I just finally have more energy thanks to a new medicine, so I am playing drums as often as I can. 😍🥁
I have 3 combos right now that I am rehearsing with. 2 I play the drums with, and one where I start to learn guitar and sing.
So I spend alot of time making music. This is what I could do 24/7 so it feels great right now!! ❤️
I bought a new guitar. 🎉
It was so hard to get it in the lefthanded version. I waited 2 month for it to arrive, but now it´s finally here and I love it!! 😍
Not only how it looks, but also how it sounds.
It has active metal pickups, so the sound of it is very heavy and full. Just great!
And the bats in the neck... So awesome!
It´s a Schecter Damien 6 Platinum.
I am in love with this one, and it was definitely not a mistake to buy it!
But I wanted to show you something else. I was asked alot of times, if I could upload more videos with me playing the drums. So here you go. 😄
This is nothing really special, but once a month there is an Open Stage where I live and I was there last thursday.
Sometimes people rehearse in small groups just for this open stage, often people just go to stage spontaneously. This is what happened thursday. I wasn´t rehearsing with anybody upfront. We just all went to stage and played Come Together by the Beatles in a more Rock version.
And it was alot of fun, and for not rehearsing I think it went quite well. 😊

Apart from that one, I practise alot with an newer combo with my girlfriend and my best friend. Where we play acoustic cover and I sing and play guitar. Everyone is still a beginner on their instrument, so it will take a while until I can show you something that is good enough. 😄 But it´s so much fun to learn a new instrument, and also to sing. Maybe next time, I can show you something.

That looked like fun. I know it's not an easy song to sing. I've played drums at some open mics and you have to be listening hard as people will mess around with the songs. Some are not too good at keeping time.
Your new guitar looks great. Just right for you.

Yeah lot´s of fun. That´s true, the more people on stage, the more chaotic it can get.. And not everyone listens to the others. Some just do their own thing and that makes it hard... :D
