Greetings my Hive brothers! The Jamming Zone has become a space that has allowed me to explore and capture my thoughts and feelings through freestyle. This time, over a boombap track, I wrote a piece that I titled “Prisoner”. Hip hop has always been a vehicle to express realities, and this track is no exception. “Prisoner” is an introspection, a reflection of how, despite others seeing me free, I often feel the weight of invisible chains. I began by talking about the influence of my grandmother, who took me to prayer as a child, showing me the spiritual path, and how the death of a loved one leaves deep and indelible scars. Those experiences marked in me the understanding that life is a process, one in which we are all searching for our meaning. Music, my great companion, becomes my escape. Through it, I transcend flesh and bone, freeing myself from physical and economic limitations. Although, like everyone else, I have moments of uncertainty and of searching my pocket without finding a peso, I am comforted by the idea that God has given me things that are priceless, such as talent and the ability to connect with others through my art. In this journey, I recognize that I have been influenced by great artists, such as Akapellah, who have paved the way with their efforts. My inspiration also comes from the little big moments, like when my “negra” looks at me, and I feel how our souls connect in a kiss. Their love and support, despite my flaws, make me feel lucky and forgiven in a world that can sometimes be unforgiving. Freestyle also touches on universal themes such as facing the negative and the ability to transmute it into something positive. Life is uncertain, tomorrow is a mystery, but as long as I have the opportunity to breathe, I choose to feel grateful. I could easily focus on what I have not accomplished, but I prefer to consider my blessings, those that have brought me to where I am today. “Prisoner” is a reminder that, despite the downfalls and challenges, I am still moving forward. It is not yet my time to give up. If I lose my way, I will find myself again, and I will never stop trying. This freestyle is a reflection of my essence and the struggles I face every day, but it is also a testament to my resilience and the hope that drives me to keep creating.

Un saludo mis hermanos de Hive! El Jamming Zone se ha convertido en un espacio que me ha permitido explorar y plasmar mis pensamientos y sentimientos a través del freestyle. Esta vez, sobre una pista de boombap, escribí una pieza que titulé "Preso". El hip hop siempre ha sido un vehículo para expresar realidades, y este tema no es la excepción. "Preso" es una introspección, un reflejo de cómo, a pesar de que otros me ven libre, a menudo siento el peso de cadenas invisibles. Comencé hablando de la influencia de mi abuela, quien me llevaba a rezar desde niño, mostrándome el camino espiritual, y cómo la muerte de un ser querido deja cicatrices profundas e imborrables. Esas experiencias marcaron en mí el entendimiento de que la vida es un proceso, uno en el que todos estamos buscando nuestro sentido. La música, mi gran compañera, se convierte en mi escape. A través de ella, trasciendo la carne y el hueso, liberándome de las limitaciones físicas y económicas. Aunque, como todos, tengo momentos de incertidumbre y de buscar en el bolsillo sin encontrar un peso, me reconforta la idea de que Dios me ha dado cosas que no tienen precio, como el talento y la capacidad de conectarme con los demás a través de mi arte. En este camino, reconozco que he sido influenciado por grandes artistas, como Akapellah, quienes han pavimentado el camino con su esfuerzo. Mi inspiración también proviene de los pequeños grandes momentos, como cuando mi "negra" me mira, y siento cómo nuestras almas se conectan en un beso. Su amor y apoyo, a pesar de mis fallas, me hacen sentir afortunado y perdonado en un mundo que, a veces, puede ser implacable. El freestyle también toca temas universales como el enfrentamiento de lo negativo y la capacidad de transmutarlo en algo positivo. La vida es incierta, el mañana es un misterio, pero mientras tenga la oportunidad de respirar, elijo sentirme agradecido. Podría fácilmente enfocarme en lo que no he logrado, pero prefiero considerar mis bendiciones, aquellas que me han llevado a donde estoy hoy. "Preso" es un recordatorio de que, a pesar de las caídas y los desafíos, sigo adelante. Aún no es mi momento de rendirme. Si me pierdo, me reencontraré, y nunca dejaré de intentar. Este freestyle es un reflejo de mi esencia y de las luchas que enfrento día a día, pero también es un testimonio de mi resiliencia y de la esperanza que me impulsa a seguir creando.
