Hello DJs on Hive community. “Q Bola” is a phrase from my country Cuba and represents an informal greeting between very good friends. I am going to use it in the publication of the Podcast that I will begin to make to greet you, because I consider you all as such. I'm sharing with you this short interview with a DJ who's just starting out. She is an example of desire and passion for what she loves, music.

La voy a emplear en la publicación del Podcast que comenzare a realizar para saludarlos, porque los considero a todos como tal. Les comparto esta pequeña entrevista realizada a una DJane que recién comienza. Es un ejemplo de deseo y pasión por lo que le gusta mucho, la música.

Translation of the interview

Rahi: Well Liz, first of all I want to thank you for accepting this little interview, something that I would like to do with all the people who go through my courses, What later I will do it in a more formal way. It's going to be a podcast that
will be called “Q'' Bola DJs Family”.
What motivated you to become a DJ?

Liz: My love for music. That's the starting point and what keeps motivating me to
become a professional in music. Ever since I heard a song by Alan Walker “The Spectre” in fact, it was love at first sight, you could say. That was my motive.

Rahi: No if you really like music you already have a big point in your favor, I think that when we do the things we want we do our best despite the inconveniences we may have. In fact, you who are just starting out, I'm sure you've already had a few. As for obstacles, which ones can you say you have faced.
What obstacles have you faced?

Liz: Well, mainly that I had never played before, I mean, I didn't have the opportunity to really get into DJing. I had no equipment, no software, no knowledge of anything to be a DJ, as such.

Rahi: It is true that in our country we do not have training places as such. But I can tell you that the DJ's career is practically empirical. One takes knowledge and experiences from here and there and forms one's own little book. And the other thing is the resources that are not very affordable to say. But I see that none of this has stopped you. What would you say to people who would like to but are afraid?

Liz: Let's see, no risk, no gain, that's one. But I would tell them that if they really like it, they should look for something that I don't know what to try, but at least at the very least they should keep listening to music, because in the end, there are very few people who like to be a genre and be DJs, as such. That they get right into it, that they try, that they take risks, that they dream and don't stop.

Rahi: I know that many people will identify with your words and I see you with good vibes and energy, so could you tell me what plans or goals you would like to achieve as a DJ.

Liz: Well, I would like to play in Tomorrowland, meet my gods, my idols, Alan Walker, David Guetta, Marshmello. I would like people to like what I do, the songs I would compose, to laugh, feel excitement and travel the world. I would love that as a DJ as well.

Rahi: Of course, it's just about trusting yourself. The next interview will be a video call with you before you start a concert at Tomorrowland. Visualize yourself and work from that perspective. I really thank you for granting me this little interview, and keep improving, you're doing well.
