**Translation of the interview **

Rahi: Hi Gianna, welcome to my podcast Que bola DJ family”, you are one of the first, and as you can see I'm still putting it together but well the best way to start is starting and it gets fixed along the way. I thank you for accepting this interview. What motivates you to be a DJ?

Gianna: Let's see, it motivates me because it's been a dream since I was a little girl and since it's a dream it's a goal I want to achieve. That's why I motivate myself every day more and more to be a DJ and to improve.

Rahi: That's very important, continuous improvement. Music is something that is constantly evolving and whoever stops, as they say, goes backwards. Obstacles that you have had to face?

Gianna: Obstacles in itself good that I have not been allowed to play in places where there are age restrictions or because I have not had the resources to participate in an event. Also at times I have run out of resources, machines, things and well I have spent some time without anything until I have to go back to it again because of problems, money situations and so on. but aha. Those are more or less the obstacles I have.

Rahi: No, but the good thing about it is that you already have a good track record because you started early. That gives you a good position, to be a DJ the constant practice is super important, as they say out there you already have a good flight time. It seems to me that yes, you are the youngest Cuban DJ of electronic music, it seems to me that if we have to find this out, what would you say to people who would like to be a DJ but don't dare?

Gianna: I say to take the risk, the one who risks wins and in the end if it's a dream you will always achieve it. If you have the focus and the courage to achieve it, you can reach the goal like me, I'm trying to be a better DJ and a better person through music. If it's a dream you always achieve it.

Rahi: That's the same way, you are an example of someone determined to achieve what he wants, do you have any specific goal or objective as a DJ? What is your goal as a DJ?

Gianna: Well I really my goal is to play in the big places Lost land, tomorrowland, but in itself my goal is to be one of the DJ's apart from Cuban, let's say younger in the theme of dubstep, of the theme of the strongest genres because in those genres does not reign at least the female part of the genre, so I want to represent part of my country and I would like to represent the females in that part of the genre that is strong and I would also like to achieve, and I don't know, someday play with my favorite DJ and be more or less the same as skrilex, let's put it that way.

Rahi: Well, you have already taken the first step and that is the most important thing, so you are already on your way. Congratulations, I've seen you play and you do it excellently. And it seems to me that you are the youngest DJ in Cuba, we have to investigate that but yes.
