My new track "El Condor Pasa" on Spotify

Those who follow me knows I've started making and playing bamboo flutes two years ago. I've learned to play the Native American Flute (NAF), the Quena, the Quenacho and the Zampoña. One of the songs I've always wanted to play is "El Condor Pasa" made popular in the English world by Simon and Garfunkel with their version "El Condor Pasa (If I could)".

One thing I didn't know until I started to listen around for the Andean version is that the S&G version only used a section of the actual song. In the Andean version, the song changes rhythm and mood, it becomes faster and happier as you reach the end.

With a Chilean friend of mine, we recorded our version of "El Condor Pasa" with Andean instruments including:

  • Charango (like a small Ukulele)
  • Zampoña (pan flute)
  • Quena (rim-blown flute)
  • Bombo (drum)

Woahoo!!! What was that? No I mean how did you guys do that? Let's not even talk about how well you guys played those instruments yet, that video editing was superb!!! Bravo!

I've never really liked listening to flutes that much but mind you I don't hate it, I just don't get the opportunity to listen to it too often and the few I've listened to are not as good as what I just heard just now. And the most interesting part was you've just learned it for two years!

I rest my case, if not I might just keep in talking, actually I'm speechless, what am I saying? 😅, this is beautiful, I !LUV it ❤️.

Personally I like playing the flute a lot and the sound of the bass makes me more excited.
And this flute playing talent is a talent that is not in everyone, I want to say it is an Xor given talent, it is not possible for many people to try and after many efforts, it can't achieve success, so your skills and experience help me. I'm so glad to know that I have the opportunity to work in such a community of people with all kinds of experiences.

The big rig is my desktop, I also have a small rig which is a laptop. Not to be confused with the rig (no preceding descriptor XD) for moving characters XD
