Gospel music my joy
Hello everyone it's another amazing week, full of many things to unravel.I am quin Lizzy,a newbie. This week will is my second week joining the hive family and it's has been interesting all this while.Welcome to my blog and the Afri -tunes weekly activities and ofcourse it's all about Africa music.Music has been a source of upliftment to me at all times especially during pain and sadness. But when it comes to gospel music it hits better.
Today topic: Gospel music my joy is indeed my joy.Theirs a lot to say about this but words alone can't completely explain it.My love for gospel music has lead me to be a chorister since I was seven years at St Cecilia choir in st.stephen catholic Church Akwanga in Nasarawa State Nigeria.Saint Cecilia is known as the patron saint of music and musicians this is cause she sang a song to God when she was dying. Is that not amazing?I really can't explain it but I know that their is more to music that brings out joy even in the moment of pain.
I will be talking about a song titled papa you do well by Omaye Isaac. This song isn't just melodious to the ear but it gladdens the heart and makes you want to dance. This song has a lot of personal connection to me and my fellow chorister, whenever this song is sang at the ending of mass.Joy just overflows and dey lyrics has different combination of languages which brings out the Africa nature in it.This is the copy of the song
Gospel music has always been a way I connect with my creator, ofcourse everyone loves praise, what about my God even though it doesn't add anything or remove anything to him, at least that's the only thing we can render.Ee dey chorister believe that he who sings prayd twice isn't that so amazing. Not to talk about the joy that comes from singing to God.Africa has so many cultures and music is one of the way we use to showcase our culture and religion.let us encourage gospel Africa music cause I believe it's the best in music.
Music will forever be my joy at all times.Music it self is a medicine to the heart I must admit. Thanks for stopping by.
