Hive Open Mic week 161 original piano music 'Lucy'

My offering for hive open mic 161 is a little piano piece that I wrote in honour of my Mother's lovely dog 'Lucy'.

Lucy is the sweetest girl but lively and playful too. She is a border collie and is now two years old but I think she will probably never grow out of being a puppy. I have always had animals in my life but my love for dogs comes from always having them when I was a child. My mother has four now, all border collies and Lucy is the youngest of the crew.

Like most dogs, she loves to chew things...as you can see in the photo above.

She looks just as cute now she's a bit older.

So here is my little piano piece dedicated to this dear, sweet dog 'Lucy'. I've tried to capture her spirit of fun and her slightly cheeky energy. I hope you like it.

Hey Barbara,

This was a super nice tune, cheerful as little doggies can be and bringing us happy moments. With a modulation to E minor too, but just for a moment, like a small mischief... but back to cheerful feelings ;)

I agree. Animals deserve their own tune but so do people. I'm currently trying to write a song about Myke and he's trying to write one about me...it's not so easy.

You know while I was listening to you I imagined the doggies playing, it all fit perfectly with this beautiful melody, fun, playful and for some reason it reminded me of Christmas 😋!!!!

Hi there @fernanblog I'm doing well, and thank you for the nice compliment about my hair. I understand why you thought it sounded a bit Christmassy....all it needs is some sleigh bells to turn it in to a Christmas tune...I already have the Christmas lights..😂🎄
