Beautiful Small World

Listening to this song brings back good memories to me. I have a friend whose name is Esther, we met during our high school days. You'll never believe it but this world is so small and knowing her has taught me that. She really inspired me in many different ways I could have never imagined. To me she was the best of the best. You could hardly hear her say there's something impossible and she is multi talented and such a good cook. I fact I am still very much amazed how she takes Carre of everything so good even her financial and material needs as a young woman.

During the time we met, things weren't so good for me. It was a as though I was living in hell because of my nature of work which is always stressful and doesn't give me the time I needed as a woman to socialize and be with friends or even start a small business of my own which I so much desired.
An entrepreneurs life is a completely different life style from the one who works under an already established firm for somebody because the firm will demand you give them the best of the best in you but will end up paying you what's not worth it.

Esther was like the woman who defiled gravity, though I cry of the stress but she works with me in the same firm at that time while we are also in the same school, yet she started another business of her own and acquired great assets from the money she has made. Her smart moves greatly inspired me a lot to think of how to start the only business which has been on my mind for so long which is in line with fashion and beauty. I always know that fashion business is a good business as I derive deep joy and happiness in making people look good and be the best the can.

Esther was the one who helped me write my business plan in a sophisticated way. Today I and Esther own our separate businesses and we have a good thing going for us. Currently we're planning on expanding our businesses to some regions we consider it would flourish in, we also employs people who helps in keeping up to the demands of our services. Esther layer travelled to her hometown with plans of staying with her mom for a while but in the process she took longer than I expected and her line wasn't going through to contact her.

During that time I couldn't resist my mom's call any more of calling me to pay her a visit home. Deep inside myself I know she wanted to start the marriage talks again or possibly linking me up with a man but when her calls became too much with many different reasons that sounded too critical. I booked my flight and later landed in Los Angeles. There I met my mom and some of my relatives and later after staying with her for a few days, the truth started unfolding and I found out I was right about my mom trying to link me up with a man for marriage.

One night mom called me to her room, sat me down and started saying a lot of things to me and the summary of everything didn't escape her carrying her grandchildren. I know I wasn't ready for marriage yet but after she was done talking I decided to take little walk to the nearby store to buy some milk products and clear my head. There I met someone who looked exactly like someone I know, I really got closer to find out it was Esther my dearest friend but I couldn't believe it. How in the world can this be possible, though I've lost contact with her for quite a long time but I least expect to see anyone like her around in Los Angeles judging from where we met.

We screamed, we ran and hugged each other tight. Later after a little catching up, she gave me her contact and her residential address. She was engaged and seems to be pregnant too. Just by looking at the engagement ring on her finger, deep in my heart I heard a voice say “It's time”. I feel this world is big but a small place where you can meet the person you once know somewhere in an area you least expect to see them.
