When Friendship is good

Today is not like every other day for me because the activities of yesterday still had a strong grip on me. I can't say I enjoyed myself more than every other person in my area but indeed I had fun, real fun. There is nothing good as doing what gives you joy especially when you have the time or when you will enjoy it the most. I didn't necessarily have any place in mind to visit yesterday but just as I woke up and about entering my bathroom. Someone started calling me on the phone which prompted me to run back to identify the caller and just as I picked up my phone and checked on the screen. It happened to be the young man who has been calling my line ever since he requested my contact information in my shop.

Though the guy is handsome and looks fit, at least every young woman who loves good things may fall for him but as for me. I'm just so tired of the love and relationship thing because of the number of times that I have decided to give it a try. It has always ended up hurting my feelings and any wise person will know that if anything has hurt their feelings over and over again by trying it out, they will learn to tread with caution. As it is popularly said “once bitten, twice shy”.
You could hardly see one that has been stung by a bee before and wants to mess with other bees.
Yes he called me and I'm grateful he did because I've been working my ass out. All about Christmas to me is work even though I have stopped accepting new offers for work this year, I still have a backlog of untouched work which I need to finish before January. I've even tried to see how much assistance I could get by inviting a few of my girlfriends who are also into the line as I was, at least to help assist me.

When I answered the call he told me he was coming to my place. Immediately I managed to finish up everything I was doing as quickly as possible and then entered the bathroom. After taking my shower, I dressed up immediately as I didn't even have enough appetite to eat something yesterday.
Somehow I was thinking of where to visit during this Christmas especially where he will be taking me.
Soon after he came to my place and knocked, when I heard the knock, I opened my door. And the first thing that happened was that I perceived his beautiful fragrance before I looked up at his face. Soon after he came in and sat down, after a little catching up, I asked him if he would be needing anything or should I bring him food. He told me there is a place he would love us to visit,I wasn't so surprised because I already know he will want to take me out. According to his words, he used to tell me that it is not good to stay in doors all the time and it is also not good to be working at all times without having time for refreshment.

I had told him that he will be taking me out because I don't know of anywhere to go and besides I still have a lot of work waiting for me to be attended to.
It took me a longer time to finally get prepared even though I thought it would only take me a few minutes because of the level at which I have prepared things.
Finally as we came out outside, I securely locked the doors before going down to where his car was parked.
When I got there I found out that there was another person in the parked vehicle. With so much curiosity I checked to know who it was and I found out that the person appeared to be in a good looking outfit almost like pilots. I called his attention to the one sitter in the car and asked him who he was and he told me that the man is his driver. Deep down inside of me I was somehow surprised because I didn't know the man would have a driver.

After we had gotten inside the vehicle and locked our doors the driver asked for the location which was communicated back to him and he started driving till we entered the road. When we got to the place, to my surprise it was a big restaurant with so much luxury. After he had sat down on chairs that were behind a round table. Our conversation started flowing in such a way that we talked for a lengthy period but my concern was about the driver who was still with the car before we stepped in, so I asked him about his driver and why not he come inside and join us.
He then picked up his phone from his pocket and dialed his number, so after he entered he ushered him to a chair. We all enjoyed and chatted together, what thrilled me the most was that his driver wasn't just someone that appeared as a perfect gentleman but one who talks in funny ways that could make one to keep smiling.

After our time there we also headed over to another location where we both had some more fun and I'm really happy that both the driver and his boss got to know each other some more, even better than they had known before. I was later dropped back home with smiles all over my face and deep down inside of me I know that indeed it is really fun to go out once in a while and meet good people.
