Bro Bang technical improvement in Version 0.8.24 | Download size reduced by over 60% = massive reduced loading time

As a further improvement, I was able to significantly improve the size of the required download. I am currently working on this area, as it is generally an important factor for the accessibility of the game.

Bro Bang version 0.8.23 has a build size of 67.1 MB.
With Bro Bang version 0.8.24 I was able to get down to 25.5 MB.

After several tests, I can give you rough figures on how much the loading time has improved. Of course, this depends heavily on your internet connection, but also on how fast your computer can process the data. So the numbers will vary depending on which computer you are using (your CPU & GPU) or what internet bandwidth you have available. In my case - and after several test runs of both versions - I averaged the following times:

Time to load & process all data from Bro Bang version 0.8.23: around 23000 milliseconds.
Time to load & process all data from Bro Bang version 0.8.24: around 15000 milliseconds.

Wasn't it @dewabrata who commented anywhere that he got stuck during loading process? I can't find the comment any longer... @dewabrata, was it you? If you like, try it now.

Of course I will go on with optimization and write a short notice as soon as next significant steps happend in this area or in another.

Off topic but I do have a question. When you stake CCD, CCPower goes down. It seems to only count non staked tokens in the wallet. Is this by design or a glitch?

Hey. Thank you for the question. Yes, this is a unintended behavior - it is the opposite of how it should be...

Loooong time ago liquid CCD got counted - all was okay. Then I included staking and changed the rule that only staked CCD count, but this script got never modified...

You are not the only on, who is wondering about that... Let me try to solve it today...

Yeah, okay, I really can't remember who/when... Or maybe you weren't not the only one... however... steady improvement...

Next article about a solved bug is awaiting to be written already... but tis time on the main account, because yes, this was a bigger issue for a longer time and some people might be happy to hear that and check it...
