Yeah, that's right! good music is all it takes to put a smile on our face. But... and this is a big but, first you have to take into account a few things to truly be able to extract from music what can eventually draw and put a big smile on your face: ¡You have to have a soul!

A wise soul, conscious and generous with everything that happens around you in the now, in the current moment, in the present, in your present and in the present of the whole world. Because it is only in this very present that things happen. And therefore, you necessarily have to be attentive and focused to each and every detail of what is happening in this infinite instant that we call the now. Because everything else may or may not happen. That's the real moral of this story.

So yeah, forget about endlessly chasing that eternal mirage of a possible future. That intangible concept and fragile, insubstantial, vaporous and impalpable chimera that others have instilled in you and made you believe it exists. Because in my eccentric and now veteran opinion, there is no such thing as the future, but rather a constant, sequential and permanent present. The only fragment and segment of the authentic reality and figment of your own imagination with the enough solidity and reliability as to be able to put a smile on your face at any given moment in whatever you do.

Although of course, if you want, you can completely disregard everything I've said in this post. Because I'm certainly an old chap now, and it's very likely I see things quite differently than you do. But well, anyway, the only thing I really wanted to do in this post was to share an unorthodox "film review" of an excellent movie that I believe you should watch and I'm simply offering some of my philosophical thoughts on the matter.

Because, as that old proverb says: "There is more than one way to skin a cat" so I suppose there's more than one way to do a movie review too. And I have chosen this somewhat more extravagant way of doing it because I suspect that it is always possible to gain a greater understanding of things when we learn to see them not only with our own eyes, but allow ourselves the time to view them from different angles and perspectives.

Different angles and perspectives, like the ones you could find if you just dare to click on the image below.
