¡Hello music lovers! My dear melomaniacs who affectionately and with great curiosity always follow the old, unknown and strange music that I share with you every Tuesday on TTT. Today, I'm just passing by to remind you that exactly fourteen days ago I launched a Three Tune Tuesday musical contest easy to win which is still valid for participating, competing, enjoying and winning the juicy prize.
Originally I had planned that it would only last for a period of two weeks until a single, undisputed winner could be found. A winner who had achieved such a high score answering correctly the five questions that no one could question his/her keen observation of details, his/her accurate knowledge about what I was asking and his/her formidable intuition about what an old Cranky Gandalf like me might like the most. Which undoubtedly would indicate that they already know me quite well.
However, and even though some of the current participants have already done enough merit to win the contest with the questions they have answered so far. In my cranky opinion, their score is still not high enough and far enough from the other contestants to declare any of them the undisputed winner. Either because they did not answer each and every one of the five questions, even though they could have, or because they did not dedicate the necessary effort to win the prize.
But that in any case, what truly motivates me to extend the contest for another seven days is the following...
Ear to the drum:
A minimum number of no less than 5 contestants had been established in order not to declare the contest void due to lack of quorum.
Although five contestants were eventually reached, their poor effort into answering each and every one of the five questions plus the low score they reached through the few and only ones they responded, they really left a lot to be desired.
The fifth and final contestant actually appeared at the last minute three days after the start of the competition, barely answering just a single question and in a very general and unconvincing way, as if his only intention was to ensure that the minimum of five contestants required were met.
From that fifth and final contestant, no one else has appeared in the course of the last fourteen days. And although clearly two of the five contestants could have already won the prize for having answered most of the questions correctly. Even so, I've decided to extend the contest for another extra week. Just to make it clear that there is no favoritism and the prize goes to whoever makes the greatest effort to win and achieves the highest score.
That's why I did not comment on any of their answers until now and only upvoted them. So as not to leave clues to other potential contestants with what I said, that they could use to try to defeat them with a higher score.
Nonetheless and fair or not for those who enthusiastically already participated and gave their answers. Anyway, today I'm gonna give to the new contestants and to the previous ones some additional clues which would most likely help them achieve higher scores if they really strive to answer each and every one of the five questions correctly.
It will be just a matter of fine-tuning your psychedelic mind, eyes and ears to what you will see and hear next. And that to be completely fair with those who already participated two weeks ago, let me tell you that you are free to return to your previous comment and edit it as much as you want to improve it by answering all the five questions and achieving a better and higher score.
All for the sake of creating a fair, longer and fun competition with equal conditions for all participants above all. Then don't be indifferent, shy, or greedy and also invite your friends to participate or reblog this post so that your followers and more people know about its existence if you really feel that this would make the contest more competitive, fun and interesting. Although I have the hunch that after you've enjoyed the exclusive videos and stunning tunes I'm bringing you today, I bet you'll want that everyone watch them and enjoy them too. So, let's get started with the fun!

hahaha, yep that's about me... which makes you sound like my mother.
BTW... your 'musical contest' link does have an error. #justSaying
LoL yeah, I must be sounding like a cranky mom here. Hahahaha
Yep, that's right. The mysteries of Hive. Because the link behind the word "musical contest" is exactly the same behind the previous links behind the words "Post" and "curators" a little higher up, and yet they work without problems and do not give errors.
Although on the other hand I think I know exactly where the error comes from.
When I originally published the contest article, it appears that the first two tags were accidentally joined together: (hive-192806 and music) and the new tag #hive-192806music was created that apparently in hive.blog, peakd.com and ecency.com does not point to any "community" with that name, and that's why they all throw an error.
Thanks for the heads-up mate. I've already corrected the link in the post, and now clicking on the word "musical contest" will take you to the correct post regardless of which Hive UI you're using.
And speaking of this, did you already listen to and watch all the videos I shared today? What did you think of these melodies? Don't they make you want to go back into Rock Music again and that consequently these new tunes inspires you and motivates you to want to edit your previous answer in the contest to try to win the juicy prize.
Hahaha nice! 🥳 an extension!
I do somehow like number 3 in this post.
If these music insertions are clues for your challenge post, I do not know.
At least, I wasn't able to discover it.
I think I keep to my original response.
I do think you can keep the contest open for much longer. How cool will it be when leaving the community, let's say a quarter of a year to get down and give their response? Slow = Good. It is different, and I like 'different' 🙂
Hahaha, yes, an extension. Because it seemed to me that there has been too few contestants in fourteen days.
Really? What do you think makes you like number 3 more than the other two?
LoL yeah, I have to admit that too often I'm too cryptic for my own good.
Smart choice mate. Because I'm sure you're aware that so far you're the contestant with the highest score due to your greater effort in answering the five questions and your extraordinary knowledge of music and archaeology, deciphering the musical tastes of an old Cranky Gandalf.
Well, in principle I like the idea of the contest being open for longer. But then I stop and think that very few people here on Hive would actually be willing to wait that long to win and receive the prize.
If as it stands now, only 5 contestants have appeared, how many more do you think would appear if we left it open for a quarter of a year?

Yeah, I agree. However, I'm afraid that a large majority of potential contestants here in Hive would be hoping to win the prize immediately to rush to the grocery as soon as possible and buy their groceries before the money of the prize loses value.
And yeah, in my old & dusty book, different is always good. Whether it be slow or quick.
You make me LOL again!
Ok, let's see if we can find some more people to take the challenge.
I'll ping a few people through channels outside HIVE.
No guarantees for new entries, but I'm going to try.
For now, NJOY the 🎶
ps Can't really tell why number 3 sounds better to me. Difficult to explain when I like something or not, especially when it's similar, ie same type of sound. It simply feels the number 3 is - for now - my pick.
Nothing makes me happier than being able to do that, my friend.
Oh yeah, that would be very cool buddy. Let's give it a try and see how it goes. Because there is no worse attempt than the one that is never made when seeking to discover something new.
Hmm, that's quite interesting bro. And just for pure curiosity... Given that all the three songs are within a very similar sound type, then you think it rather has more to do wirh the combination of the sound with the visuals in sync what determines whether you like one song more than the others?
I mean, for all the songs I tried to visually recreate an actual story with a somewhat credible narrative behind, tightly 'in sync' with the spectacular nature of the music. In such way that each spectator, beyond the music by itself and their musical tastes, they would be able to psychologically immerse themselves in their own memories and lived experiences. So, do you believe that's exactly what influences whether you like one tune/video above the others?
Always, brother. Every day, at every moment. You know that very well.
Just re-listened and re-watched all the tracks/vids again.
Conclusion: still number 3
Why? Still somewhat of a mystery: It felt the most friendly one to me. I must admit, I didn't try and grasp or even follow the stories of all three tracks. When I listen to music, I like to do this without thinking about it. Stay in the moment kinda thing. Owww, the third track is the only one without vocals. Perhaps that contributed as well.
