Three Tune Tuesday Week 92: Just pretend I'm not here.
A trio of songs for the deaf, for the mute, for the blind. For those who do not want to see or hear or speak. For all those who are carried down the river without ever reaching or flowing into the sea. For those who get stuck in some hole or puddle on their way to the sea. Not everyone manages to get to the sea to see it, to talk to it and listen to what it has to say. They only have to wait until a big waterspout reaches them sometime.
Alright! today is Tuesday and with it a new trio of my #ttt are in order in the Week 92 of the Three Tune Tuesday initiative of our friend @ablaze. As usual, a couple of them will be pretty old songs from the ancient repertoire stored in the tousled vaults of my arcane convoluted brain which come to my memory in this very moment.
With the exception, perhaps, of the last song in this selection which, although it is indeed quite an old tune, the very recent performance by the Irish group Johnny Gallagher & The Boxty Band in June 2022 in Ballyshannon, County Donegal playing it, for me has been truly exceptional beyond all the thousands of covers that through the years I have heard of this famous and well remembered old song.
And well, it will be with this last song that I will say goodbye to everyone who reads this post, even knowing that to whom this special tune is dedicated, it is most likely that none of them will have the chance to listen to it. Enjoy today's waterspout folks!

I agree - but... maybe its my age, or maybe its just the years of conflict that I've had for so long - and the longing for peace!!!
I just love unity where I can find it. And I love calm. i do stand up when I need to speak (as I think you can tell from my comments) but I also find there are times when I would rather just go find calmer waters than to stir it up... you know?

I find that when things are most heated, you'll get the most genuine expression when the guard is down.
I don't try to trick people into this- but i do like to SEE what I'm really dealing with. so - i do have to say I can see your point there too hehehehe
ok - now... ughhh i've been dreading some admin work for my project - and I have put it off SO long, and it just needs to be done.
i would much rather talk more with you though hahahahahahaha

Well, I suspect and I have the strong hunch that this is just because my downvoters would really love to know me and meet me in person for when I go to search for them into their rat's den personally and kick their little useless ass so savagely and mercilessly, that they will have it destroyed for life and then they will have no desire to downvote anyone else anymore.
