"Three Tune Thursday - Week 141" A handful of oblivious tunes to refresh the memory of the youngs.

As you know, I am not a child of the 80s nor one member of the MTV generation, you know? I'm indeed older than that and therefore my musical tastes are way more raw, wild, swampy and rebellious. Nonetheless, I can have some memorable moments of that age.

Some memories that in one way or another were stored in my mind associated with a particular event or specific experience that makes me remember a few of those musical pieces as something worth highlighting and reviewing here today.

And therefore today, for the 141st edition of the Three Tune Tuesday. I wanted to bring you a handful of those songs that, although these never were the real cup of tea that define the true essence of my musical tastes from the bottom of my already worn and way too used soul, mind and heart. I suspect that these tunes actually could be some that you, being younger, could feel fully identified with.

Nonetheless and taking into account that these songs that I have selected for you today could have become into big hits at the time. I believe that nowadays and for some strange reason it is not frequent or easy to listen these songs on commercial radio or in mass music streaming services online anymore. I wonder why?

Although I suspect that it is because the children of the 80s, the Millennials, may also have become a too old audience of listeners and are now the Centennials or Generation Z those who have taken over the attention of the commercial radio and music streaming services online to please their fancy and to try to sell specifically to them whatever electronic gadget and new stuff on the market they might want.

Anyway, oldies or not, I would want to know how many of you have heard these songs before and how many or which of them have the power to invoke memorable memories associated with unique experiences in you? Enjoy the trip and flashback!

And I'm glad you like it. By the way, would you mind to tell us what was the song you liked the most?

Cyndi Lauper, yes! At first I thought I wasn't going to know any of the songs you posted but I later discovered I know time after time coz it was recommended to me on Spotify and I loved it the moment I heard it. I'm a Gen Z from the late 90s but I love songs from the 80s. My playlist is filled with the likes of Lionel Richie, Ben E. King, ABBA, Elvis Presley, and a lot of other legends

Hahaha, yeah, I know I share a lot of musical rarities not well known by many of you. But this time I decided to give luck a better chance. };)

Oh, are you by chance implying that if it had not been for Spotify recommendation, wouldn't you have known this song?

Ah, I see, you are indeed pretty young. But since you mention that you love 80s songs and you are also mentioning Lionel Richie, let me then gift you one of his most beautiful melodies and the one I like the most even though it is not specifically from the 80s. };)
