According to the official numbers, charts, and statistics within the Hive blockchain there are 2,615,134 registered Accounts in the "social network" of the Hive blockchain as of today, June 16, 2026. But, have you ever wondered how many of these two million six hundred fifteen thousand one hundred thirty-four accounts are active users?

And yeah, by active users I mean those users who create content, respond to comments left by others on their posts, interact and comment on other people's posts and organically, consciously and consistently read and vote on posts they have read from beginning to end.

Of course, under these parameters, we would first have to subtract and discard how many of those 2,615,134 registered accounts are just Alt Accounts belonging to the same individual; how many of them are just Bots to selfvote their own shit? How many of these accounts have been created simply to hide rewards & income and obfuscate the route they use to extract Hive off-chain? And how many of these registered accounts are just dead and unused accounts so far that are just waiting for the right moment to start farming tokens for their own exclusive benefit? Once that's done, how many do you think would be left? Or in other words, how many real and active users do you think there are on Hive? ¿Would you dare to guess how many exist?
