¡A necktie, a pair of socks & a handkerchief! ...it's my MeMe #331

Well, I don't know about you or maybe I don't know what people usually give as a gift to their old man on this day these days. But I remember that back in the days, many decades ago, with a fancy necktie, a pair of socks and a handkerchief that matched everything else, everyone in home was happy and done. It was not at all rare or unusual that we, in our once-a-year celebration received from our offspring, well, basically from their mum, one of these colorful kits or sets to make us more elegant.

Well yeah, perhaps it was only because in those old times and in light of our recent and growing responsibilities, it was much more common for us to spend most of our time away from home 'in uniform' from nine to six in an office to make someone else richer. Oh yes, because in those days there were indeed office jobs with stable employment. Therefore, it made sense and was justified that on a day like today we received this sort of kits and sets as a gift from our children so that we would excel in our work.

But anyway, don't pay too much attention to what I've already said above because it's very likely that I've simply gotten a little too much carried away by memories and nostalgia on a day like today. Because the truly important message and content, the heart of the matter, the crucial substance to absorb from this article and what leads me to publish a verbose post like this on a day like today, is actually what follows:

¡Happy Father's Day!

Yeah, this is my personal tribute and homage to all the fathers of the world on such a special day as today. So, after all the rambling in the content of this post, all that remains from me is to wish you a very happy day, a better Sunday and weekend and that you live at least 100 years like the guy in the last video so that you can enjoy of your children and their gifts as much as you can. And with that, I'll say goodbye until next year to share with you new anecdotes and good memories. Cheers!!
