Polish Nature - Spring Vibes in Old Beech Forest #1
Hi Friends!
This is a full gallery of chosen shots I process to my video, which You can see checking out my previous post HERE
I had this Nature Reserve in my plans from a long time but finally this year I decided to check it out - and it was a great choice for springtime woodland exploration.
I am sure the pictures will tell You more than any of my words so I hope You will enjoy the gallery.
This place is called "Debowo Nature Reserve" and it is placed between Biskupiec town and a small village Besia in Warmia-Masuria distrint in northern Poland.
It is a typical forest nature reserve where the old beech forest is protected as it is in his eastern side of natural occurrence.
Beech forests are really amazing during the spring and autumn - in the springtime, the leaves are very soft and thin giving the natural effect of glowing green colour, during autumn - they all changind colours to yellow, orange, red and sometimes not in the same time which create the amazing effect of colorful forest - one tree can be still green and yellow when other in the same time can be already orabge and brown...
I am sure I will visit this location in autumn this year - I see there an amazing photographic potential to capture some colorful, vibrant shots
Let's see on the pictures then :)
Foto: Debowo nature reserve is placed just by the lake which is calle also Debowo - This time it didn't look amazing but it has potential when the autumnal colours will be reflected in the water or any fog and mist will gather there!
Foto: After walking into the area of the nature reserve I was shocked how green the foliage is, the whole forest looked like a green latern or like ot was lighted up from the inside... amazing effect!
Foto: Old forests have this advantage that we can find there many different and very big species of mushrooms - especially in a nature reserve where the dead trees are not being removed and they are a natural enviroment to grow of such species. Great motive for our shots!
Fotos: Wandering around this place was magical - what You cannot experience when watching the shots are all the noises making by the birds and the amazing smell of the flowering forest floor.
All of these were a great mixture of positive energy which I really enjoyed.
This was really a beautiful masterpiece of natural forest. One of the best Beech forests I have seen in the area where I live.
Foto: Last shot in this part is facing up, where the trees are really look like trees ;). In this part of the forest they weren't the oldest, in this nature reserve we can find much larger and older species but even here we can see how high they are!
In my opinion they could have easily around 30-40 meters, growing together without any competition from other species (like Pines which can grow to 50 meters!) this forest is very stable, every tree has it own place, every tree is a part of the whole ecosytem.
It was amazing experience for me as a forester from education, to walk around and watch this natural and very stable forest.
That is why this forest is a nature reserve! - To keep the trees growing, to observe them, to study them - to get more knowledge for the future, how to rise a healthy forest without big expences.
Nature is self-sufficient - just let it be!
THANKS FOR WATCHING!
