Good day, fellow Hivers! I hope you are having a fantastic day. I have been busy with my schoolwork lately since there are no face-to-face classes. Our teachers have been providing us modules, and some teachers are doing online classes. Yesterday was the deadline for the submission of these outputs. So now, I'd like to share with you my experience at the concert held yesterday in the San Remigio Complex.

I won a concert ticket from the church on Sunday. It was quite shocking to know that so many people came to the church, and I was one of the lucky ones who received it. The ticket was placed under the chair I was sitting in. The concert was in celebration of San Juan Nepomucend Parish on April 19, 2024, which was yesterday. I'm really thrilled, so I decided to go because I received it for free. I asked my grandmother and mother for permission to go to the concert. At first, they seemed hesitant, particularly my grandma, because the event began at 7:00 p.m. and I happened to be the only one who would come. My family won't be able to come because the ticket that I will be sitting on is really expensive. It costs 300 pesos per person. Also, our house is far away from the distinction, but later on, my grandmother agreed anyway. I'm so thrilled and scared at the same time, since I know that it will be so late when it ends and our home is far away. Though my mom drove me here, I'm glad. Two of my friends will also be coming here, but I don't know if we have the same ticket since your seat will depend on the amount of the ticket that you buy. Mine is ₱300.00, so I got to sit in the very first row, which was easy to see.

I'm quite nervous here since the concert start late, which is not what I expected I hope that they won't scrolled me when I got home. Though my mom will pick me up in the specific place. But still as a daughter who is currently 16 years old I know my limitations and I know that I'm not supposed to go out alone especially at night, so thats why I'm scared. I'm also don't like to go alone especially at night, but I'm here. I arrive at exactly 7:10p.m. while the concert started at 8:00pm. I was really disappointed because I thought they were on time.

They have a short entertainer who is a girl. The performance was nice. The singer herself also has a great voice. Her voice is mezzo-soprano, and she sang four songs. I don't know the title of the song she sang, but her voice is really good. After the performance, prayers were said, followed by the national anthem, which is the Lupang Hinirang. After that, one of my friends came. Her ticket was also the same as mine, so we got to sit with each other. I'm so happy that I'm not alone now. Unfortunately, the other one was unable to attend due to a disagreement with her father, who also serves as their driver.

Later on, there were four priests who came onto the stage and sang. After that, they have a short introduction about where they are from and their names. It's my first time to this kind of concert, so I don't know what they will sing. Then they sang the songs entitled Halik, Pusong Bato, and other love songs, which I did not expect. I thought they would sing a church song since they were priests. I had so much fun. They also sang modern music like Just Give Me a Reason, Roawr, and others. They also dance, which is so fun to watch. After every song, they make a joke. The concert can relate to all ages. They both sing old and modern songs, which makes it not boring.

They also discuss how our donations can benefit the church. Despite the difficulties they faced, they managed to be successful in making the church a better place. They want to thank everyone who helped them with their effort. And then some new faces took the stage and sang their songs. Unfortunately, I have to leave because it is already 9:40 p.m. My mother was already here. My mother told me that my grandma was worried and had trouble falling asleep, so mom came to pick me up to ease her concerns. I'm not upset or anything. I'm just grateful that I have a kind family. Overall, it was a fantastic event that I thoroughly enjoyed.

All of this is based on my own experience. Thank you for making it this far. I hope you enjoyed it. See you on the next blog!

That is your lucky day Ma'am @phoennix09
There is a deep meaning on the love song that the priest sing on stage. Maybe they want the audience to reflect and learn a lesson from the song and at the same time to entertain the audience.

I'm always grateful to have them by my side. They always understand me and give me freedom which is why I loved them the most. Even though there's a limit since I'm still young, at least they're giving me a chance to experience a lot of things.
