How Music Becomes a Soundtrack to Our Healing: Reflections from Week 38

It's week 38 and we're all back at it again, aren't we?? Yeah, I guess so.

Without further ado, let's get into it, shall we?

With a cover of Promises by Maverick City. This is one of my favourite gospel songs—it got me through one of the toughest times in my life, and here's an artist who covers the song, giving me a whole new experience. Just makes me really grateful and, of course, happy.

Sometimes music isn't just about the voice; it's all about the experience!! The feeling, the emotions, the message, the good vibes—the type you wouldn't want to end. Esther gave us that experience. She took the song at her own pace while making it hers. I feel alive today, and I'm glad I came across this at this point yet again.

It's almost impossible not to highlight just how good her entries are. She gave me an emotional experience here also. I mean, I thought of my life for a second and was like, yeah, that's good. Sometimes we rush to attain the treasures of life so much that we often forget ourselves in the process. This song made me rethink and restrategize. She meant every word that came out of her mouth—I know because I felt it. And that voice control? Oh, come on! How can you resist that?? Good one here, dear.

He's the master of good lyrics. You know those songs you hear, and you instantly get motivated to do good and make hay while the sun shines?? This is exactly how I felt as I listened. Calm down.
