Swinging by to upload a quick bass test , I've been experimenting a bit on preamps and how to remove the original bass track using the Izotope Master Rebalance plug-in , so far i've been having good results.
Will update on that ;)

Removing an instrument from a song track without affecting everything else must be a bit of a challenge.

Actually it's not that hard with today's technology , I recommend you try an app called Moises ;) . It will surprise you
