Some Friday oddities.

We went down to the local shopping mall, and I saw some interesting stuff.

All kinds of old stuff married to the modern stuff.

The wife was searching for a special kind of bottle, and so, being the obedient husband, I had to cater to her whims. So, we took a trip down to a special shop called "Mambos" at the shopping center. As usual, I had my other wife (camera) with me, and she wanted to take photos:))
So, I found some things that I thought my camera would like, and hopefully that you will also like.
Come and see.

Now if you think that the Triumph motorcycle idea was a good one, have a look at the next photos.

Outside, in the parking lot, there sat this old Ford Cortina.

I think they were manufactured in the 70's.

Drat! I could not get more photos of this lovely old car on the road, and it looks like an old Citroen to me.

So, there you have it. Just something to brighten up your Friday a little bit. Funny how time flies lately, as if you ask me what I did yesterday I think that you would be speaking about today. Lately, I have become very befuddled and its either a mental thing or the earth is spinning much faster. I remember some song lyrics, "Time is on my side" by the Rolling Stones, and I can say for definite that time is not on my side, as it simply runs away.

Your 'other wife' finds interesting sights for sure. I just love how vintage stuff is being repurposed and show up in real fancy places!
You're not the only one who feels the earth is spinning faster, in fact in 2020 scientists discovered that instead of slowing down, the earth is spinning faster. Quite an interesting read here:

Hahaha, just a bit of humor in the post Lady Lizzie. Thank you for the link, and for a long time I have been arguing that the planet will spin faster due to all of the weight being moved from it. Millions of tons of coal are being burnt up and now with the ice bergs melting, we are in trouble.

Just don't put the keys of your car in the fridge, as it takes many hours of the day to find it !LOL

Oh yeah, you are right, but many over here moan that time is slipping past faster, even if they are not having fun :)

I love to see the old stuff being given a second life, instead of lying in a yard and rusting away.

I myself also go inside the hotels and go inside the shopping malls, now everywhere we see it becoming decorated and modern and people also like to go to the same places, so all the people. Who are spending money beautifying places to attract more customers.

If there is a good coffee place inside, I will go in, but the rest of the time I rather outside. Much research is done on how to lure more customers.
