Welcome to Hive Vinyl Freaks!

Hello fellow groove lovers,

Welcome to a tiny but mighty corner of the blockchain — Hive Vinyl Freaks. We may be only a handful of members now (or maybe a dozen if the hive keeps buzzing), but our mission is clear: to share the most beautiful, strange, rare, and downright legendary vinyl treasures from our collections.

Sometimes someone else's mistake becomes a treasure!

This is not a group for “music lovers” in the generic sense. No. Here we celebrate music on vinyl — because we believe vinyl is the perfect body for the soul of music. Its grooves hold more than sound; they hold stories, emotions, and a tactile connection to the art itself.

It started with collecting and ended with producing vinyl records.

Vinyl isn’t just a metaphysical experience. It’s also a real-world asset that can surprise you with sudden price jumps, much like crypto — except with far fewer heart-stopping crashes. Some records behave like the most resilient coins in your portfolio. If only they could be tokenized… oh, what a glorious degen dream that would be!

Our hive is for people who love vinyl — not as background décor, but as a living, breathing part of their lives. Whether it’s your prized first pressing or the dusty flea-market find that stole your heart, this is the place to share it.

  1. Posts must be about vinyl — stories, finds, or obsessions — vinyl comes first, always.
  2. This is not a group about music in general, but about music on vinyl.
  3. You can post about the records you dream of owning — and tell us why.
  4. Every post must include a photo of a vinyl, a collector with vinyl, or shelves full of vinyl.
  5. Posts should celebrate the wider vinyl culture, from crate-digging to pressing plant visits.
  6. Photos from events are welcome, as long as vinyl makes an appearance in the frame.
  7. Be kind — no insults, no drama. We’re here for grooves, not grudges.
  8. No one is “better” because they own more or pricier records — snobbery stays outside.
  9. Posts about audio gear are welcome, but only if it’s for playing vinyl records.
  10. Remember: we’re here to share the love for the world’s most beautiful music format — the vinyl record.

LOVE THIS!! hahahah
Okay for me vinyling is more of a winter thingy as then I really take the evenings to make listening the LP as a task. Summers are more fast music because bbq and people are here, lemme just put something one. So for sure will come back when the temperature drops again and the focus shifts to the perfect needle, the anti dust brush and vinyl and fireplaces again :D

I was just wondering what a personality like you is doing on Hive – and this post explained it perfectly! 🙌 Keeping my fingers crossed for this initiative, I love people with passion and the energy to create spaces like this.

Thanks!
I don't really understand what you mean by "a personality like me", but.glad you are cheering. I recommend reading my first article on Cool Kids Of Death 😁.

I’ve read that article 😊 When I say ‘a personality like you,’ I mean the variety of passions you have, the way you make a living, and the different areas you’re active in. It’s definitely meant in a positive way from me.
