Greetings beautiful people of the #Music Community. Hope your day is going great. Today is Tuesday and the body knows it. Already my mind adjusted to the #TTT initiative permanently, besides wanting to recommend good music to you.

  That's how Tuesdays have become special for me and already my mind moves to the musical world, digging into my repertoire of so many multiple artists that I love.

  Today I'm going to talk about a band called: Blue October, this is mostly because October is one of my favorite months of the year and so I take the opportunity to dedicate a special post to this band.

  Saludos gente linda de la Comunidad de #Music. Espero que su día vaya genial. Hoy es martes y el cuerpo lo sabe. Ya mi mente se ajustó a la iniciativa del #TTT de manera permanente, además de querer recomendarles buena música.

  Es así que los martes se han hecho especiales para mí y ya mi mente se traslada al mundo musical, indagando en mi repertorio de tantos múltiples artistas que me encantan.

  Hoy les voy a hablar sobre una banda llamada: Blue October, esto más que todo porque octubre es uno de mis meses favoritos del año y así aprovecho de dedicarles un post especial a esta banda.

  This group has been active since 1995 and to date has released a total of 13 albums of which I have some favorites for not only 2 songs but for all of them in general.

  And their lyrics are so deep and emotionally charged that I can't help it. For a long time, I identified with a lot of songs whose lyrics spoke of sadness, contempt, and depression, so I felt that way for a long time.

  Este grupo está activo desde 1995 y hasta la actualidad ha sacado un total de 13 álbumes de los cuales tengo algunos favoritos por no sólo 2 canciones sino por todas en general.

  Y es que sus letras son tan profundas y cargadas de emociones que no puedo evitarlo. Por un largo tiempo me identifiqué con gran cantidad de canciones cuyas letras hablaban de tristeza, desprecio y depresión, por lo que me sentí así un largo rato.

  Ugly Side was the song that got me hooked on being one of their many fans. Although the first one I heard from them was Hate Me, one of their biggest hits released in 2006 with their album Foiled.

  Already by the name you can get an idea of what the lyrics are about. But the most important thing here is the use of the instruments and the weight of the vocalist's voice. The combination they used in the first one I loved so much, I mean, I fell in love with the use of that violin that sounds at the beginning. For me, it's something spectacular.

  Ugly Side fue la canción que me enganchó a ser una de sus tantas fans. Aunque la primera que escuché de ellos fue Hate Me, uno de sus más grandes éxitos que sacaron en el 2006 con su álbum Foiled.

  Ya por el nombre se pueden dar una idea de qué va la letra. Pero lo más importante aquí, es el uso de los instrumentos y el peso que tiene la voz del vocalista. La combinación que usan en la primera me encantó tanto, es decir, caí enamorada por el uso de ese violín que suena al inicio. Para mí es algo espectacular.

  Blue October has become one of my favorite bands since I first heard them because their vocalist Justin Furstenfeld has suffered from depression as I have many times and their songs at the beginning reflect that.

  On the other hand, it's not all bad, actually he overcame his emotional rough patch, got married, and started a family, he has also changed his style of songs. I mean, in his latest albums they sound much more optimistic and I love that.

  Blue October se ha vuelto uno de mis grupos preferidos desde que los escuché por primera vez porque su vocalista Justin Furstenfeld ha sufrido de depresión al igual que yo muchas veces y sus canciones al inicio, lo reflejan.

  Por otro lado, no todo es malo, actualmente él superó su mala racha emocional, se casó y formó una familia, también ha cambiado su estilo de canciones. Es decir, en sus últimos discos suenan mucho más optimistas y es algo que me encanta.

  Besides, this new course that the band has taken seems great to me, I like that they are taking this optimistic direction with their songs but above all that they still keep their unique style that catalogs them in a perfect mix between Punk and Rock.

  And since I'm into this whole thing of paying attention to what I listen to, to focus on positive music that helps me see the beauty in life, this new style fits perfectly with what I'm looking for in a band.

  Además, este nuevo curso que ha tomado la banda me parece estupendo, me agrada que tomen este rumbo optimista con sus canciones pero sobre todo que sigan manteniendo su estilo único que los cataloga en una mezcla perfecta entre el Punk y el Rock.

  Y como ando en esta onda de prestarle atención a lo que escucho, con el fin de enfocarme en música positiva que me ayuden a ver lo bonito de la vida, este nuevo estilo se ajusta perfecto a lo que busco de una banda.
