Hola querido hiver.

Hacía tiempo que tenía en la mente participar en el #threetunetuesday y por unas cosas u otras no lo conseguía. El caso es que, para mí, la música es más que un entretenimiento o forma de expresión. Es la banda sonora de mi vida y me retrotrae a momentos pasados que han conformado lo que soy en el presente.

No concibo una vida sin acompasarme a un ritmo, no importa de qué género se trate, en qué idioma se cante o cómo se baile. En cuanto mi cuerpo detecta las vibraciones en el ambiente necesito sentirla.

Para esta primera participación en la iniciativa creada por @ablaze he seleccionado tres canciones de Bon Jovi que suelo ponerme cuando estoy con las energías bajas y la motivación precisa de un empuje extra para continuar.

La primera canción puede considerarse un himno generacional. A pesar de ser todavía niña cuando se lanzó este tema, en mi juventud era pinchada como un clásico del rock en los pubs a los que acudía con mis amigos.

Su mensaje de apoyo y esperanza llega aunque no se comprenda el idioma. Evoca el éxito y la victoria ante los problemas.

Tenemos que aferrarnos a lo que tenemos
No importa si lo logramos o no
Nos tenemos el uno al otro y eso es mucho para el amor

La segunda canción da título al disco que la contiene. Lo confieso, en esta época me enamoré perdidamente de Jon Bon Jovi, de su sonrisa perfecta y su corte de pelo moderno que le quedaba de lo más sexy.

Ay, que me pierdo... retomando el tema de la energía, aquí la esperanza toma el protagonismo. La mayor fuerza está resumida en dos líneas:

Todo el mundo necesita a alguien a quien amar
Todo el mundo necesita a alguien a quien odiar

Y es que a veces puede movernos más el odio que el amor. Las dos caras de la misma moneda.

Termino con el regreso más esperado para quienes fuimos fans de la banda. Con el nuevo milenio retomaron la grabación de temas acompañadas de un cambio de imagen y de composición. Queda lejos la estética cercana al heavy metal de los 80s y se aproximan más al pop que al rock, pero mantienen la energía y el sonido positivo que te da ganas de levantarte del sillón y ponerte a brincar.

Es mi vida
Y es ahora o nunca
No voy a vivir para siempre
Solo quiero vivir mientras estoy vivo

I had been thinking about participating in #threetunetuesday for a long time, but for one reason or another I couldn't make it. The thing is that, for me, music is more than entertainment or a form of expression. It is the soundtrack of my life and it takes me back to past moments that have shaped who I am in the present.

I can't conceive of a life without being in tune with a rhythm, no matter what genre it is, what language it is sung in or how it is danced to. As soon as my body detects the vibrations in the environment, I need to feel it.

For this first participation in the initiative created by @ablaze I have selected three songs by Bon Jovi that I usually put on when my energy is low and my motivation needs an extra push to keep going.

The first song can be considered a generational anthem. Although I was still a child when this song was released, in my youth it was played as a rock classic in the pubs I went to with my friends.

Its message of support and hope comes through even if you don't understand the language. It evokes success and victory in the face of problems.

The second song is the title track of the album that contains it. I confess, at this time I fell madly in love with Jon Bon Jovi, with his perfect smile and his modern haircut that looked so sexy on him.

Oh, I'm losing my way... To return to the theme of energy, here hope takes centre stage. The greatest strength is summed up in two lines:
