Hola querido hiver.

Regreso al #threetunetuesday iniciado por @ablaze con un cantante conocido en todo el mundo, Alejandro Sanz. Sin embargo, espero sorprenderte y descubrirte melodías y, sobre todo, letras suyas que no hayas escuchado.

El madrileño tiene un puesto preferente mi vida musical. He crecido escuchándole y fue el primer "ídolo de juventud" que soñé conocer. Por supuesto, esto jamás se ha materializado, jajaja.

He decidido seleccionar para esta ocasión tres de sus muchas baladas. Cada una habla de una forma o causa de desamor diferente. Alejandro es un maestro de la composición y lo demuestra con creces. Déjate llevar y saca los pañuelos de papel si eres sensible. Quien avisa no es traidor.

Este tema es duro y según su autor siempre ha dicho, es una historia real que les ocurrió a unos amigos. Relata el accidente de moto de una pareja en el que él muere. Es una parte de la realidad que existe, pero que solo conoce quien se ve involucrado en primer plano.

La canción pertenece a su disco Viviendo deprisa. En aquellos tiempos se recorrió todos los programas de televisión en los que hubiera actuaciones musicales, para delicia de las niñas que no podíamos acudir a verle en sus conciertos.

Asentado en el panorama musical español, despegando en el latinoamericano pero desconocido todavía en el anglosajón, Alejandro fue madurando y dos discos después del anterior nos sorprendió con esta exquisitez de canción. Amores separados en la distancia, difíciles de llevar a buen puerto.

La letra es un diálogo telefónico en el que solo escuchamos a una de las partes, que descubre la infidelidad de la otra parte. Para mi gusto, se trata de una de sus mejores canciones porque en ella se refleja quien va a ser en el futuro, un letrista excepcional y músico de pies a cabeza.

Pasamos, ahora sí, al disco que le llevó a la fama mundial. Su Más, en que se incluye el famoso Corazón partío, es el álbum más vendido en la historia de España y, por extensión, lo convierte en uno de los más importantes de habla hispana. Arrasó en todos los premios por los que pasó y encumbró a su autor al podio de los elegidos.

Sin embargo, he elegido la balada Amiga mía porque representa otro aspecto del amor, el que no es correspondido. También relata un caso real en el que Alejandro se encontraba en medio por mantener amistad con ambos protagonistas. Sin duda es un maestro para hacer arte del sufrimiento, sea propio o ajeno.

I return to the #threetunetuesday started by @ablaze with a singer known all over the world, Alejandro Sanz. However, I hope to surprise you and discover melodies and, above all, lyrics of his that you haven't heard before.

The Madrilenian has a special place in my musical life. I grew up listening to him and he was the first "youth idol" I dreamed of meeting. Of course, this has never materialised, hahaha.

I have decided to select three of his many ballads for this occasion. Each one speaks of a different form or cause of heartbreak. Alejandro is a master of composition and it shows in spades. Let yourself go and get out the tissues if you are sensitive. Who warns is not a traitor.

This is a tough song and, as the author has always said, it is a true story that happened to some friends. It tells the story of a couple's motorbike accident in which he dies. It is a part of reality that exists, but only those who are involved in the foreground are aware of it.

The song is from his album Viviendo deprisa. In those days he was on all the television programmes where there were musical performances, to the delight of the girls who couldn't go to see him at his concerts.
