Vibes web3 Music Competition week 33_Bimpe by Asa
This week’s theme is all about embracing our roots and singing in our own language. As a proud Yoruba girl from Nigeria, I chose to perform "Bímpe" by Aṣa, a soulful and expressive song delivered beautifully in Yoruba.
This song isn’t just melodious, it’s a cultural gem that captures the essence of love, longing, and deep emotion in a way only our mother tongue can. Aṣa’s music has always inspired me, and singing Bímpe felt like a warm hug from home.
This is me celebrating my identity, my language, and my sound. Ẹ jẹ́ ká gbádùn èdè wa! (Let’s enjoy our language!)

Thank you for stopping by
I'd never listened to Yoruba songs, I really liked it. The rhythm is joyful and nice.
Great rendition. Best of luck.
Thank you Rosana
