My entry for this week is a cover song of Kingsley Ike titled “Osei iye” Oseiye, is a Yoruba word which means "we have won". It is a declaration of victory in Christ Jesus . It is an emphasis and reminder that as children of God we have overcome the world through His power. It is an.expressions of gratitude and praise and thanksgiven to God for His good works in our lives.

The first time I had this song was when I was a teenager while in secondary school. It got to a point that as a praise leader in church, your praises is not complete when Osei iye is not part of your song selection. The song has a way of motivating men and women to give thanks to God. It has become a song of testimony to many who have overcome various challenges of life.
